How do you wear your Crossbreed Supertuck Deluxe?

I just received my permit and have been carrying a Gen4 G26 in a CBSTD Horsehide/Combat cut. I am a lefty and wear at around 8:00. Just curious, those who have a CBSTD, where do you wear it and what holes do you have the clips set on? I have read some comments that you will find your "sweet spot" and some mention they forget they have it on. Compared to not carrying, I don't think I will ever not notice I am carrying. I am 5'5" and weigh 145 lbs (not overweight but very fit and muscular). Been trying different cants and not quite sure I've found my sweet spot. Thanks in advance.

  3. Congrats on your permit and decision to carry!

I have the same CBSTD-Horsehide/Combat cut, but right side and for a Glock 23 Gen4.

I wear mine in an exact mirror of yours, at 4 o'clock. My forward clip is at the top hole and the rear one is at the third down from the top. This puts the mouth of the kydex at the top of my jeans waistband. The cant is forward enough to keep the grip from sticking out the back of my shirt and still allows me to bend side-to-side without jabbing myself. The barrel of this G23 extends downward and back to just above my right-rear pocket.

I've always worn sleeveless t-shirts tucked in and now have since wearing flannel/light plaid shirts untucked either over a tee or by itself. With summer finally here, they're gonna lose the sleeves too! :D

I have the CBSTD-horsehide without the combat cut. Carry it with a M&P 40c at about four o'clock. My forward clip is second hole from top and rear clip is in top hole. I always know it is there but it is not uncomfortable to carry. I also wear pants with waist one size larger.

Mine is also a CBSTD in horsehide, but I didn't get the combat cut. Mine is at 3:30 and both V-clips are set at the second hole from the bottom

I am a lefty and I wear mine a hair forward of 9:00. When I got mine it came with the clips in the top holes and I didn't like that so I put it in the second hole. It was much better but not perfect, but after I wore it a few times and broke it in, I can't even tell I'm wearing it anymore. I too wear shorts a size bigger. I am going to try putting one on top and one on second to see if its even better; I never thought of that. I carry a Glock 30. What a great feeling having that insurance on your waist!!!

Crossbreed - outa the box perfection for me.

I recieved it (them, now). I put them on. I put the Glock in them and they are perfect. I didn't change the cant or adjust the belt clips, it was just fine. ...Yes, often I 'forget' I have it on in regard to comfort. It is the best damn holster for comfort AND for concealment that I've tried, and I've tried some expensive leather!

Oh, the combat grip... I took a pair of cutters and made by own on the second holster I purchased. The first supertuck I purchased with the cut, the second without after I realized I could easily cut my own. (saves a few bucks)

  8. I wear mine kydex just at the belt-line. Then I adjust the clips for a slight forward cant. It doesn't provide a deep-cover carry, but it also keeps my belt directly on the kydex instead of partly on the kydex and partly on the pistol.

Placement is the firearm just behind the center-line of my leg. This is due to my having tree trunks for upper legs and believe me that leather will rub like crazy if it's too far forward. The nice thing is that it only takes an inch or two of movement forward or backward to alter comfort levels.

I too am a lefty. For more comfort i usually wear all of mine around 8 or 8:30. It conceals better at 9:00, however. If I move it more forward like 9:30 or 10 it becomes difficult to sit for very long. Just keep trying different positions until you find what works for you for a given situation.
    Good luck,

Luvmyruger - what holes do you use for the front and back? Also the combat cut is just a trimmed version by the grip so more of it is exposed for easier draw.
