Why would I need a FL NR permit?

  3. They charged my CC yesterday, so the clock started then. I might get it before the Memorial Day weekend.

I've had a Utah permit since '08. It comes in handy when traveling.

I acquired a FL permit for my secondary, but I am switching to UT as a second permit, just submitted the app (with a copy of my CO permit in case they don't get around to processing it until after May 10).

  6. I just got mine today, took the class on Feb 4th, so it took 2 months and two days. Have not received the Fla one yet.

I'm a Utah certified instructor. They're running about 55 days with processing the permits.

    Good Morning

To be real honest I have had mine so long that I forget how long it takes to get the first one. I do know that renewals are usually within 3 weeks.

I am just real happy that Utah issues non-res permits.

There was a move on several years ago to stop the non-res due to the cost of processing and maintaining the records.

    thanks

    From the VCDL VA-Alert today:

    From Utah.gov: http://tinyurl.com/3lrreqc

For those of you that have Utah Concealed Firearm Permits, there have been some changes of late:

    - As of 1/1/2012 to get a Utah non-resident permit, or renew the one you already have you must also have a copy of a valid permit issued by your home state if Utah has reciprocity with that state.

    - Utah instructors must have a valid Utah Concealed Firearm Permit.

    - As of 5/10/2010 the non-resident renewal fee will be $15

You can read about these changes at the Utah Bureau of Criminal Identification (BCI)
When seconds count, the police are only minutes away.
