I had an Astra .357 with a 4" bbl while stationed in Alaska in 1973. It is a good Spanish made pistol and was accurate. The only thing I didn't like about it was the floating firing pin. Google Astra to get more history on these guns.

Hmmmm, never heard of them myself... But if Oldgrunt says it is good....., I have no reason to doubt it.

4" .357's.... one of my favorite type firearms... I have both a Taurus and a Rossi at the moment..... Easy to hit a man-sized target at 100 yds..... .38's out of them drop about 7 or 8 inches, but .357's are pretty much still flat, or it seems so anyway.. Never would have believed it if I hadn't tried it myself a few weeks ago.
