    No surprises for most people on this forum about the need to be able to protect oneself, but here is an interesting article on a shift in the thinking on active shooter response by law enforcement.

    They would have to change their rules about "guns on campus" for anyone to really fight back. Even when I went to college down south it was arrest and automatic expulsion. And most of the time it was people with shotguns in the back of their trucks.
