ankle holster?? have you ever trained with a gun in an ankle holster? I can't see how you can access it if needed

What to carry in dirty conditions?

I actually do train and carry one as a secondary weapon. If you are worried about getting your gun dirty that may be an option though not ideal.

To draw from and ankle holster you lunge forward which will automatically pull your pants leg up and expose your gun. With a little practice you can get to your gun almost as fast as an IWB

ahh, the operative words are SECONDARY WEAPON, I and I suspect you would never recommend that a primary weapon be carried in an ankle holster, that is a recipe for getting yourself very dead very easily

If I were close enough Id have no problem with that. I assume your the fastest draw in FL? You realize that some of us dont have the luxury of IWB right? When Im at work my toolbelt rules out IWB and my smartcarry, that leaves the ankle, and I assure you its a lot faster than you think it is. When not working I carry IWB or smartcarry.

I have seen people get to them really fast. I carry mine if i go to a place where no guns are welcome. What gets you killed is a lack of situational awareness.
