    I was gonna say...you gonna have a lot of signs saying "STOP NOW" long before you have enough lead build up to stop a bullet. I think the gun would probably give up the ghost and go kaboom before lead fouling could stop a bullet with a full powder charge behind it.

    I carry a 23 and have shot a couple thousand reloads. I use Titegroup with Ranier jacketed bullets. I've never had an issue. When I clean the gun I always break it down and check everything since I do shoot a lot. I anticipate having to replace the barrel at some point but right now it is clean with no unusual signs of wear and it is still accurate.
