What other states except the permit from Conn? Where do you go to find the info on applying for it?

CT Recip...not many honor it....guessing because they don't honor anybody else.

Contact CT DPS to obtain permit packet

    Mine to 40 days

  5. How is the fingerprint process handled with connecticut? Their application instructions confuse me. Do I have it done at a local law enforcement agency here in RI on an FBI card like every other state or is there something different about connecticut? I would really appreciate any imput you guys can give me.

FYI - When i filled out my CT app...I also had to get prints for FL and VA. Only the FL instructions required the printing be done by LEO.

  8. Thank you so much. Do any of you happen to remember the total fee for connecticut? The application lists several fees associated with processing the print card and Im not sure which one to pay mind to.

They send you the cards. Two of them. Go to your local sheriff's office.
At least that's the way it worked for me. My Sheriff's office was happy to do it. Cost me total for the two cards, $18.

Just sent my app in last week. I needed to get 3 bank checks made out to DPS. $50 $70 and $19.50. More then the Mass app but the Mass is for only one year.
