NO, I don't have a 'tude. It was just a joke! Lighten up a bit.

But it sure would solve our bad education problem in this Country. thinning out the herd kinda thing! LOL!!

Sometimes we need a LITLE LEVITY HERE. It doesn't get pretty serious once in a while here.

    Hi all, first post.

When asked why I carry, by LEO or anyone else, my answer is the same.

"Because quite frankly, someone might need to get shot."

  4. My answer:"The same reason I have health and fire insurance".

That is a great quote. I am going to use that one.

I really like your quote from Clint Eastwood, everytime I read that I bust out laughing!

Not to bad mouth LEOs as I know many. They are not able to be in all places at all times. They all will readily admit that.
There was a court case about that too. I don't have the link, so you'll have to take my word. Basically, it said that the police DON'T have the responsibility to protect you. So that " To Protect and Serve " motto painted on their cars is really not correct.

They understand it. They just don't like it! With those people, I think you just be a wise guy. Ask them which of the other ten Bill of Rights freedoms do they choose not to like and ignore, and want to suppress? Freedom of speech, Not housing military, freedom from unlawful search and seizure, the right to a speedy trial,... well, which ones?

  11. If a LEO asks why I am carrying a gun I reply, "Because while you are here asking me this question, there is a crime being committed somewhere else."
