Thread: If an LEO asks why you carry...

Worked Security off and on, ask a group of teens "How are you doing" they respond with fine, and Sir.
The next "What are you doing gets a good answer" Being nice helps too.

The Glock 19 might have a lot to do with it. Talking to Police whilst working? Had one dork, not bad in five years plus. Good response time also.

I've always wondered - do you HAVE to answer police questions other than provide your truthful identity - not that clamming up is best, but is there a legal obligation to tell them anymore than who you are?

    NOPE... that's not it.

YouTube - How to Refuse a Police Search

This used to be a long and informative video but it's now broken into small segments, but if you look I think you can find them all.

Good answer!!! More importantly to me... are you really a firefighter? Guns usually dont help when it comes to a fire lol This I know from experience lol

I always liked the "because you won't fit in my pocket" reply...

  7. I like the quick response of "What If"?

I also like getting into it with the Left Wing Tree Huggers that believe I have no right to carry at all. I also try and paint a picture to them, about what if you at home at night and someone breaks into your house to try and harm you and your family. Their response is always, "That is why you call 911". Then I laugh and say, boy hope that the criminal that wants to do harm to you is very slow and doesn't hurt you or your family while you are waiting for the police to show up.

They have no argument after my statement and walk off pissed off. All I know is this, If the situation ever arises, I feel confident that I will be able to protect my wife and children no matter what until LEO arrives to take over the scene.

    Thumbs down Some...

Some people are too blinded by their own stupidity to see the truth. Which is being destroyed daily by the U.S government.

I keep meaning to do this, and now I finally have the time to get it done. For those people, print up a batch of signs saying "This is a gun free zone" and hand them one. Tell them to staple it up on their front door.

See how committed to their cause they are then.
