The state has done everything in their power to look like they are aggressively prosecuting GZ while either setting the legal bar too high to make a conviction or leaving the door open for appeals.

Look, I have maintained from the start that if GZ hadn't gotten out of his vehicle to follow Martin, Martin would likely still be alive and GZ wouldn't be facing prosecution. Having said that, though, unless GZ actually did something that demonstrated intent to inflict grave bodily injury on Martin, Martin was still not justified in using force against GZ. The judge knows this. It is another door for appeal.

Question Judge In Zimmerman Case Pressured by Obama Administration?

Is the Judge In Zimmerman Case Being Pressured by the Obama Administration?

Speculation is raging that the judge in the George Zimmerman case could have been put under pressure by the Obama administration after she staged a bizarre outburst during which she interrogated Zimmerman while repeatedly silencing his lawyers.
Essentially, Judge Nelson told Zimmerman he had the “absolute right to remain silent” but then proceeded to demand he answer her questions interrogation-style while silencing his lawyers.
Defense attorney Don West twice objected to Nelson’s interrogation, prompting the judge to raised her voice and exclaim, “Your objection is overruled!” in a manner more befitting of an angry parent lecturing a child than a legal professional.
Both of Zimmerman’s lawyers appeared shocked as attorney Mark O’Mara asked under his breath, “what is going on?”
Several legal experts and observers said the outburst was unprecedented.

The judge should be removed from the bench!! I was surprised that she did not instruct the jury that they could give GZ life for spitting on the sidewalk!!!!

"Speculation" is right - Equally valid "Speculation is raging that the judge in the George Zimmerman case could have been put under pressure by God after she staged...." or "Speculation is raging that the judge in the George Zimmerman case could have been put under pressure by space aliens after she staged...." or "Speculation is raging that the judge in the George Zimmerman case could have been put under pressure by Spiderman after she staged...."

What I take away from this trial is that I will not move to Florida. I would not want to ever live somewhere that would put me on trial for NOT breaking any law. If GZ was black and TM was a "white" Hispanic there would be no trial and we would have NEVER heard of this shooting!!! Sharpton and Jackson have not said anything to try to prevent "so called" riots if GZ is found not guilty. They will come out after the riots start and act like the heroes.

It was said that if obummer was elected that would be the end of racism in the USA.

Speculation is raging that Martin was actually shot by Federal gun-control agents, then whisked away to a hospital where he was treated and released that same night. The gun was put in Zimmrman's hands by the agents and Zimmerman was told to take the rap or else everyone in his family would be eliminated. Yes, good old speculation.

Angry *The State Now Trying To Convict Zimmerman Under "Child Abuse"* WTH??

George Zimmerman’s defense attorney exploded at the prosecution Thursday after they attempted to have the jury also consider a third-degree murder charge based on child abuse in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin.
“Oh my God. Just when I thought it couldn’t get more bizarre, the state is seeking third-degree murder based on child abuse? Is the court going to give this any serious contention or consideration, because if so we have a lot of talking to do,” defense attorney Don West demanded.

Well halleluiah, Nelson sustained the defense objection to 3rd Degree Murder with an underlying crime of child abuse as the basis.

Admittedly, the following is just my perception of her mindset as she was giving her ruling, but in my mind, this is what I heard her say:

"Mr. Mantai, this court took the opportunity during the lunch break to consider your motion to include 3rd Degree Murder with a child abuse charge as its foundation, but the cacophony of laughter and collective outrage over my even considering such a legally absurd lesser included charge coming from the collective entirety of the legal and judicial community drowned out my ability to think clearly enough to come up with a quasi-valid rationale to overrule Mr. West's objection. I tried, Mr. Mantai, I really tried, but I was overcome with the same level of distraction as Jim Carey's character was in the movie "Bruce Almighty" after he was given god-power and the prayers from around the planet started audibly cramming into his head. It saddens me to have to so thoroughly impair the state's ability to get this creepy ass cracker off the streets, but your motion to include 3rd Degree Murder as a lesser included charge is denied."

Anybody else hear anything substantially different?

No one has ever heard me say that I "hate" cops, because I don't. This is why I will never trust one again though: You just never know...

What is NOT speculation is that the DOJ was involved in staging the protests that resulted in Zimmerman being tried in the first case, when it has been universally agreed that he would most likely have been cleared by a SYG hearing. What is NOT speculation is that the DOJ gave a 40 MILE police escort to the students who were bussed in from Orlando to Sanford to stage the sit in at the Sanford police station that led to the resignation of the police chief. Judicial Watch has obtained the documents and emails from the DOJ that confirmed all of this (Documents Obtained by Judicial Watch Detail Role of Justice Department in Organizing Trayvon Martin Protests | Judicial Watch). What is NOT speculation is that our illustrious president brought pressure on law enforcement in Sanford to prefer charges against Zimmerman by going on national TV to tell us that Trayvon would have looked like his son if he had actually had a son (just like when he brought pressure on the police when Professor Gates was "harassed" by cops who "acted stupidly") - which also insured that seating an unbiased jury would be next to impossible. What is NOT speculation is that the DOJ has done nothing to Black Panther leadership that has threatened retaliation killings if Zimmerman is acquitted, threats that would have brought the fury of the administration down on any white organization that made such threats

So it isn't a jump at all to think that the DOJ just might be bringing pressure on the judge in this case to force a desired result. This administration has proven time and again that it will do anything to achieve the results it wants. They want Zimmerman convicted at all costs.
