I have used ammoseek a number of times with great success. It even gives you the price per round.

It works for practice only. Most commercial ranges don't like it cause it is throw away ammo. One use only. It fouls up their sorting process of the brass.

  7. Thanks for all the advice. I went to georia -arms.com and bought a box of 500 .45 ammo from them.

Aluminum vs brass: Brass has been around forever, not aluminum. The blast is going on right by your head. Saving a few dollars ---not for me. Seems to work OK but its my opinion.

A bunch of sites that I have listed over the years:
    Able Ammo
    Natchez Shooters
    Midway
    Grafs
    Cheaper than Dirt
    Ammunition to Go
    Georgia Arms
    Ammo Direct
    Mastercraft
    Ammoman
    Champion Shooters
    Ammoseek
    Buds Gunshop
    PriceInsanity
    CDNN Sports
    Bass

You must do due diligence and do not forget their shipping, handling, insurance and service fee--they all differ and it adds to cost unless you are buying several hundred to over a thousand rounds, where these costs end up being small/cartridge
