Thread: Do gun laws work?

  1. Do gun laws work?

    Not a chance in hell.

Great Britain has all but completely outlawed all firearms within the country, to include the little .22
(Very few exceptions do exist, but those exceptions are few and far between, and almost never pertain to the civilian populous.)

Yet things like the below posted are still happening almost 15 years later after the gun ban.
BBC News - Murder inquiry after man shot dead in Nottingham garden

That being said -- IF YOU OUTLAW THE GUNS, ONLY THE OUTLAWS WILL HAVE THE GUNS!

    Any questions?

Strict laws only target law abiding citizens...

Its the same old story. People kill people, not weapons. Before the gun it was a knife or a sword. Before the knife and sword it was a rock, club, spear, or bare hands. Governments and police agencies are so stupid. Until we are gone from the face of the planet it will always be the same old story.

  5. sure they work. the protect the government and keep the criminals well armed over law abiding citizens. government, criminals, law abiding citizens.... two outta three protected aint bad huh

Couldn't have said it better. How about we lock up the criminals, oh , we can't do that it's too cruel.

Gun laws work exactly as they are intended to

They disarm the law abiding population. Do you really think Daley is trying so hard to keep gun control in Chicago because he thinks it affects criminals?
See, it's mumbo jumbo like that and skinny little lizards like you thinking they the last dragon that gives Kung Fu a bad name.

Of course it does - it makes the job easier for his buddies in organized crime!

Daley does not give a damn about "the people" of Chicago. All that bastard cares about is his political future and power. But, then again, that is about half of the Feds as well. Its like that line off the movie Shooter. "In the end it all comes down to human wickedness - and you can't kill that with a gun".
