    Para Ordnance 1911 SF-45-A

I just purchased a Para Ordnance 1911 SF-45-A, and wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions for alternate grips? Any information is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

  3. I can't answer that but I would like a review on what you purchased. Im looking into a para or magnum research 1911

As soon as I can get to the range, I will be glad to share any information I gather with you. What I can tell you about this particular Para model is it comes from the factory with a lot of bells & whistles. Match grade barrel, trigger, & hammer, night optic sights, ambidextrous, hi-cap (14+1), & accessory rail. According to Para in Charlotte, all the upgrades make the weapon worth roughly $1,600-. These were sold to our military personnel for $750-.

I lucked out and picked mine up for $900-, so I still saved $700-, and am quite pleased to have paid that.

Been shooting a P-13 off and one for 10 years, like the weapon.
