Gee, that's swell. Just one question, exactly how do you intend to take it back? Sentimental BS isn't going to do it.

The fight is against the Devil and multi-national corporations. Make no mistake.

    Vote Ron Paul for President.

Although the election is only 14 months away, 14 months can seem like an eternity when you take into consideration the current global events and that "anything" is possible between now and then. Just the fact that the Middle East could explode at anytime and nuclear weapons used, would destabilize the entire globe, creating such massive chaos/hysteria as to cancel the Presidential election due to extreme security measures put in place to control such a crises. Remember, "never let a crises go to waste". It's no secret that Syria has a large stockpile of biological/chemical weapons, and Israel is estimated to have 300 nukes. Should Damascus soon be turned into ruble overnight as I believe it will, all bets are on, not off.
Wow, and you accused me of engaging in speculation! Just a wee bit hypocritical, doncha think? Ignorance is bliss, troll.

    Grey-Haired Brigade

They like to refer to us as senior citizens, old fogies, geezers, and in some cases dinosaurs. Some of us are "Baby Boomers" getting ready to retire. Others have been retired for some time. We walk a little slower these days and our eyes and hearing are not what they once were.

We have worked hard, raised our children, worshipped our God and grown old together. Yes, we are the ones some refer to as being over the hill, and that is probably true. But before writing us off completely, there are a few things that need to be taken into consideration.

In school we studied English, history, math, and science which enabled us to lead America into the technological age. Most of us remember what outhouses were, many of us with firsthand experience. We remember the days of telephone party-lines, 25 cent gasoline, and milk and ice being delivered to our homes. For those of you who don't know what an icebox is, today they are electric and referred to as refrigerators. A few even remember when cars were started with a crank.

    Yes, we lived those days.

We are probably considered old fashioned and out-dated by many. But there are a few things you need to remember before completely writing us off. We won World War II, fought in Korea and Viet Nam .

We can quote The Pledge of Allegiance, and know where to place our hand while doing so. We wore the uniform of our country with pride and lost many friends on the battlefield. We didn't fight for the Socialist States of America , we fought for the "Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave."

We wore different uniforms but carried the same flag. We know the words to the Star Spangled Banner, America , and America the Beautiful by heart, and you may even see
some tears running down our cheeks as we sing. We have lived what many of you have only read about in history books and we feel no obligation to apologize to anyone for America .

Yes, we are old and slow these days but rest assured, we have at least one good fight left in us. We have loved this country, fought for it, and died for it, and now we are going to save it. It is our country and nobody is going to take it away from us. We took oaths to defend America against all enemies, foreign and domestic, and that is an oath we plan to keep. There are those who want to destroy this land we love but, like our founders, there is no way we are going to remain silent.

It was the young people of this nation who elected Obama and the Democratic Congress. You fell for the "Hope and Change" which in reality was nothing but "Hype and Lies." You have tasted socialism and seen evil face to face, and have found you don't like it after all. You make a lot of noise, but most are all too interested in their careers or "Climbing the Social Ladder" to be involved in such mundane things as patriotism and voting.

Many of those who fell for the "Great Lie" in 2008 are now having buyer's remorse. With
all the education we gave you, you didn't have sense enough to see through the lies and instead drank the 'Cool-Aid.' Now you're paying the price and complaining about it. No jobs, lost mortgages, higher taxes, and less freedom. This is what you voted for and this is what you got. We entrusted you with the Torch of Liberty and you traded it for a paycheck and a fancy house.

Well, don't worry youngsters, the Grey Haired Brigade is here, and in 2012 we are going to take back our nation. We may drive a little slower than you would like but we get where we're going, and in 2012 we're going to the polls by the millions. This land does not belong to the man in the White House nor to the likes of Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. It belongs to "We the People" and "We the People" plan to reclaim our land and our freedom.

We hope this time you will do a better job of preserving it and passing it along to our grandchildren. So the next time you have the chance to say the Pledge of Allegiance, Stand up, put your hand over your heart, honor our country, and thank God for the old geezers of the "Grey-Haired Brigade."

Saw you walking out on Sentimental Street
    What cha going out there
    Who ya trying to be
    I know what you're thinking
    Cause I've been there myself
I've been kicked so many times
    I don't know nothing else
    Still I noticed your urgency
    I recognized the flair
    That ya got from chasing
    All those East coast dares
    I've seen it before
    It happens time and again
    All cut up inside
Yet you're caught in a spin

Out on Sentimental Street in the avenues
    Take a good hard look
    There ain't nothing ever new
Out on Sentimental Street in the avenues
    Will you ever find out
Guess I'll leave it up to you

Saw you dancing out at Madame Wong's Two
You did those same two steps
That I taught you back in June
    Heard you dined last night
    At Conte Razor's Cafe
    Did you get your fill
Did you think you had to pay
    Still I noticed your urgency
    And recognized the pain
And I'm sure it's the same
    You feel again and again
And I wish I could get us
    That second chance
But you're having too much fun
    With your sudden romance

Out on Sentimental Street in the avenues
    Take a good hard look
    There ain't nothing ever new
Out on Sentimental Street in the avenues
    Will you ever find us
Guess I'll leave it up to you
    (Repeat)

  6. As corny as it may sound I swore an oath before God and the American flag to defend the constitution and CPU try against all enemies foreign and domestic. I will stand by that oath and as someone mentioned before this action wod make them traitors to the republic.

    Matthew 5:34-37
34 But I tell you, do not swear an oath at all: either by heaven, for it is God’s throne; 35 or by the earth, for it is his footstool; or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the Great King. 36 And do not swear by your head, for you cannot make even one hair white or black. 37 All you need to say is simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.

Same question begs asking, exactly how are you going to do that? It's not a rhetorical question!

While yours is a quaint sentiment, you have a couple of choices, vote Republican, or vote Ron Paul.

With 20 percent of families in the US today on food assistance, why is this national tragedy not being discussed? Because jobs, or the lack thereof, are the problem, the same which disappeared over the last 30 years in the pursuit of profit in exploiting cheap labor and materials.

The federal deficit has accelerated exponentially since the 80's as corporations successfully lobbied Congress to reduce their tax bill without a corresponding reduction in spending. War's on Poverty, Drugs, and Terrorism have only served to justify spending to benefit the status quo.

Bringing back jobs will require disrupting the status quo, which is why it isn't one of the media's talking points.

  9. Scripture means nothing to me I don't believe in god. Just so happens to be part of the oath.

  10. How?
1st... Vote for ABO (anyone but Obummer). (Even Charlie Sheen or Paris Hilton would be an improvement! LOL!) Easy enough to do if you pay attention and have an IQ over 60.

2nd... If the shtf, be ready to take out as many with you as possible. (Here's hoping our own military and leo are truly committed to the law and Constitution and NOT some idiots in DC playing God. I hope they are on our side!) If they're wearing a foreign uniform, turbans, or those demonic UN blue helmets, I may not stop the demons but I'll sure take a bunch of them with me.

3rd... This should have been 2nd but oh well. I live in a smaller community and I seriously doubt they'd get to us without already having paid a severe price making it this far. No, I do not think Americans will just sit back and let it happen as did the Jews in WW2. Small arms, planes, and artillery wouldn't be enough against the immense opposing numbers across the nation. Would they resort to WMDs? Possibly, but there would still be enough survivors to make it not worth their effort. At least they would learn that trying to force Marxism/Socialism/Shariah/Communism down our collective throats just wasn't worth it.

(I'm no radical, I'm just one of millions who feel the exact same way)

Thanks, it was a sincere question. It never ceases to amaze me how many people like to whine or complain about something without offering any suggestions about how to effect change or improvement.

ABO is likely a good strategy. One of the problems is Obama didn't cause the problems, and it's almost like treating the symptom. The world system, dominated by Satan is the root cause of the evil in the world. The US is the anchor of freedom in the world, founded in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Some would say our Constitution has already be usurped, even so, it will be our banner, before God and all, to uphold and defend against all enemies, be they foriegn or domestic.

My question, and the difficulty for me is this, when an arm of the government engages in unconstitutional behavior like the unwarranted searches being conducted by the TSA, what recourse do we have besides civil disobedience and our vote at the ballot?

The farmer who drove his tractor into the pool in DC had the right idea, right up to the point he claimed he was carrying explosives. The worst he could have been charged with was trespassing or some other violation, until it became a federal matter, and they're rather heavy handed when it comes to enforcing the law. Ask anyone who's ever been convicted of selling a small amount of cocaine, a substance that used to be legal, by the way.

I'm all for taking back our country, I just don't know how bad it has to get before it gets any better. The US will fare better than other countries in this global economic downturn, but with out of control federal deficits, and everyone with their hand out, it's hard to see how this will end well.

The war on poverty was the first failure of our federal government, then drugs, and now terrorism. You may think these were necessary programs, but they were discretionary, and were funded by printed money. George Bush bailed out the banks, not Obama, but that still is the symptom. It was the Central Bank and Wall Street that caused the crisis, and continue to profit from it. That is what must be stopped, but the momentum is in their favor.
