    I wonder about ammunition production.
Who are the militia? Are they not ourselves? Is it feared, then, that we shall turn our arms each man gainst his own bosom. Congress have no power to disarm the militia...Tenche Coxe, The Pennsylvania Gazette, Feb. 20, 1788.

  5. I believe it. My wife just two days ago bought a Taurus 85 ultralite revolver. She's been looking for months for an S&W .38 special bodyguard, after she shot one last year, but nobody has them, so she elected to get the Taurus to wring-out, and see if she needs a laser for it later.

She doesn't feel safe after an incident with a casing-out for invasion at the front door. I was there, but don't think I could have taken others who were in the van parked in our driveway. She slammed the door, and I waited, they left, license plate was so trashed I couldn't get numbers, and there were no hostilities, so I blew it off...for about 5 minutes. I then made a short trip and purchased my only long gun. Effective against multiple armed home invaders.

It's a pathetic state of affairs when criminals are running roughshod over their victims, raping, robbing, murdering, home invading and carjacking, and our administration has collectively lost its mind with nothing but gun control as its most important agenda, it would seem.

My wife is scared of my long gun, even though I let her shoot it at an outdoor range where it could stretch it legs. She did quite well, but still feels safer with the .38 special. All I may do is respect her for that, and at least she has something she feels comfortable with. Something is better than nothing.

I hope the firearm sales continue to top the charts. A well armed society, is a polite society, until a criminal intends to murder a victim. When seconds count, the police are only minutes away.

Good post, riderbike. Main thing is that she is comfortable with using the weapon. Also the quote from Heinlein is one of my favorites. Lot of people never read the book, but the entire quote is even better: "An armed society is a polite society. Manners are good when one may have to back up his acts with his life."

Really would like to see who bought stock in firearms manufacturing since MaoBama took office. "Clinging to their God and Guns". NOT saying anything, jus saying. The anointed one has no care in God the Holy Father but manipulation of the market for the greater good of his supporters (so they can contribute more) is just a postulation. Granted, a postulation, but a viable one at that. Chicago politics training 101. If you want more donors with big money, support the aide in their investment so they can reciprocate. Kind of like a kick back but officially above board. Again, jus saying........

Too bad she wasn't near here. We have one in stock. We also have a Taurus. And a Ruger. The S&W and Ruger both have lasers and are .38 SPL +P rated. The Taurus isn't.

Want to see how fast weapons sell. Less than 2 hours after we got in a RRA LAR-15, it was gone.

Guess we were lucky here in the Louisville area. I noticed no or very little shortage of firearms for sale. Also ammo shortages seemed much less severe than other areas of the country.
