Father saves family from violent home invaders

Father saves family from violent home invaders, KTRK, Houston, Texas 07/01/13

    Posted on July 8, 2013

A father was at home in Houston, Texas with his wife, four children and the children’s uncle when three armed home invaders entered the apartment. As the uncle was surrendering to the criminals, the father retrieved a gun and fired at the intruders, killing two and causing the third to flee.
Police have questioned the armed citizen, but have made clear to a local media outlet that they believe the father acted within his rights. In the aftermath of the shooting, the family of the armed father showed their support, with his son telling reporters that his father is a “great hero.” (KTRK, Houston, Texas 07/01/13)
The innocent would be victims turn the tables on scum bad guys.

On the initial report, BRAVO-ZULU on engagement. The son didn't have brass, his father did. Gotta Lov the passing from one generation to the next.

Everytime I read stories like this I start hearing that song in my head,
"another one bites the dust, and another one gone, and another one gone, another one bites the dust!"
    I just can't help myself!

I don't want to glorify a death but defensive shoot is justifiable.

In Chicago the headline would have read "57 shot, 6 in one episode, on five-day weekend!" Oh, wait a minute..........
