Yes there are also stripper clips. There are many military rifles that use stripper clips to load magazines whether they be fixed internal magazines or detachable magazines. A clip is used to load a magazine or cylinder on a revolver. But that's not the context of the post. Last time I checked a SIG doesn't use a clip, neither does any other semi-auto handgun.
