    The 7.6254mmR is currently (September 2012) mainly used in sniper rifles like the Dragunov sniper rifle and machine guns like the PKM. The ballistic performance is similar with the .308 Winchester/7.6251mm NATO cartridge.

    Just wanted to say hi to everyone and to say As of about 6or 7 months ago I am a proud owner of a mosin nagant. I just love the power behind both the gun and the round when i bought this gun i bought 440 rounds of surplus 7.62x54r ammo and have fired about 80 to 100 rounds thru my mosin.
