Hello. My name is Luke, some ppl call me Big Dog. I have had my Desert Eagle .50 for just over a year know. I love it. I just recently was playing around with some stuff I just happend to have laying around. Now I have a red dot scope mounted on it. Seems to be working just fine for the time being. Not sure what the long term affect of the recoil will do to such a cheap scope. Guess I'll find out sooner or later. My favorite story about my Desert Eagle, is the day a shot an old toilet, at 85 yards. What a sight that was!!

My Name is HunterLee and I own a Magnum Research (Israeli Military Industries) Desert Eagle in 50 AE, (with both barrels) and also the 44 Mag. I also own two Desert "Baby" Eagles in 45 Cal., one in 40 S&W, and a Jericho in 9mm. I have read that they are offering the 45 Cal. Baby Eagle in with a polymer frame, but as of yet have not seen one. I have asked a couple "gun stores" in my area about them, but all they have are the "metal" ones. To me, the 45 "Baby Eagle" is an incredibly accurate handgun, but unless it has a polymer frame, (to me) it would be ridiculous to carry due to its weight. I have no butt, so it would be pulling my pants down around my knees if I were to try and carry it. I am sure there are some die hard IMI Baby Eagle fans out there that carry it despite the weight, but that has got to wear on you after a long day of carrying ( I would guess).
