One night my wife and I heard what we thought was Bo playing with his rope in the hallway and kitchen. We heard a thumping noise for quite some time. I got up to get something from the fridge when I saw what could only be described as an absolute blood-bath in the kitchen. Blood from one end of the room to the other. On the cabinets, doors, chairs, it was HORRIFIC. Bo had caught a rabbit in the yard and drug it through the dog door. After clamping down on its neck began to shake the poor thing until nothing was left but the head. As I looked in total unbelief at the carnage I saw before me and the mutilated corpse looking blankly back at me. I thought of Marlin Brando in Apocalypse Now, you know the scene where after Martin Sheen assassinates Col. Kurtze he says over and over "The Horror, the Horror". It was a night that will live in infamy.

    Hi all...

New to the group. My wife, daughter, and I are owned by two 90-pound mixed Shepherds. A brother and sister that we just couldn't separate - so we adopted both. They are awesome dogs as different as night and day. We often wonder how anybody could NOT like dogs!

BoJack, sounds like my cats. We had to block the pet door because of mauled critters the cats were bringing in at night.

I own 2 Cheapeak Bay Retrievers. Both are very well maintained, the 2 year old still thinks she is a lap dog.

    We've got a runt akita (only 100 lbs) and a boxer/whippet mix.
