I am a S.C. Sled Certified Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor and a SC. SLED certified CWP Instructor
Hi everyone are there any other NRA Cert. Instructors here in Virginia besides me posted?
I am a full time stone mason, and a part time firearms instructor, though that seems to be reversing here in the last few months. I hunt with a handgun, and enjoy casting my own bullets for hunting, target use, and carry.
I'm a native of southeast South Carolina. An avid gun owner, fixer, shooter and big game hunter for almost half a century. I'm my family's personal firearms instructor/trainer. I'd love to work toward an official "certificate" but know not where to begin.
The NRA has an excellent training program. Check out the website at: http://www.nrahq.org/education/Train...ictraining.asp Find an instructor workshop near you or one that you will be able to attend. Upon completion of the course, you will be a NRA Certified Instructor. gf
I am the CEO, Consultant, Firearms and Defensive Training Instructor for TAP3X, LLC. I am a veteran police detective (ret) and police academy instructor. I have taught firearms since 1977 to the military, leo's, security companies, ep/vip details, and to civilian groups worldwide.
I was lucky to find an NRA instructor's certification class for an extremely reasonable cost and my wife enrolled me for Christmas in 2009! I just got my renewal notice in the mail and will renew for 3 years. I'm currently working on curriculum for handicapped shooters and a class that deals with concealed carry, its moral and legal ramifications, what it means to be a sheep vs. a sheepdog, mental preparedness and expanding the constant awareness of concealment/cover, its use and shooting while on the move.
Hi all... I've been an NRA Certified Firearms Instructor on-and-off for several years. I'm currently in the middle of re-certification and will be offering an NRA Pistol Course as well as a 4-hour CCW class. I'm working on the curriculum as we speak.
