Just thought I'd introduce myself. I spent 6 years in the Navy ('77-'83). I got out as an E-5 (FTG2) I worked on the radar and (mechanical-analog) computers that controlled 5" 38 caliber guns. I served on the USS Johnston (DD821) and the USS Voge (FF 1047) hence the handle Tin Can Sailor.
