Hi Psy - I have no first hand experience but I have heard nothing but great reviews of this gun - especially now that, in addition to .357 mag, u can also shoot .38 and .38 +P and it also comes in the brand new .327 mag cartridge.and .32 H&R mag. I think you can't go wrong with it with the caveat that if u do load full .357 loads in it u may get a sore hand secondary to it's low weight compared to it's full weight brother the GP100.

Btw (I know I may get shyt for this), but on many days I carry my north american arms .22LR mini-revolver. Keep it loaded with Stingers and Quickshok - not a single malfunction in some 700 rds.

Greetings all, just joined. I carry a NAA 22 mag in my seat all the time. I have a contoured wallet looking holster for it and don't leave home without it. I have a ME resident CCW permit and a NH non-resident CCW permit. VT does not require one and that give me the Northeast to roam in without issues. Nice to be here!

ALL my carry guns say "Smith and Wesson" and Magnum" on the barrell. The only time i don't have one, is when i have two. I usually carry a 4" model 29, or actually it is a 1950 target model with a heavy barrel, chambered in 44 magnum. They didnt come out with the actual model 29 until a year later. Sometimes I carry a 6.5" 629, and sometimes, both.

Happy New Year to all, Ihave carried wheel guns for the primary reason that when you sqeeze the trigger some thing will happen (unles bad ammo) also they are lighter than most pistols, will post pictures later

Revolver vs autopistol an age old discussion, that wont be answered here. I myself like them both. I love my son AND my daughter although they are very different. My first pistol and I still go to the range together. A 1970 high standard .22cal revolver. and i listened when harry said the model 29 was the most powerful handgun in the world and i like millions of others had to have one. A nickle colt python.357 was my choice for a duty gun. (as close to a custom made gun that i will ever have)My favorite carry gun though is the Charter Arms bulldog .44 cal special. What a great powerfull little gun in a highly concealable package. I have chosen to lighten the load a little on the daily carry to a 5 shot Taurus Mod. 85 .38 cal snubbie.

I inherited my grandfathers' service revolver from when he was a Deputy Sheriff in Lakewood, California (He retired in 1972.) It's a S&W model 14, 6" barrel, .38 special. It still gets shot regularly, and with it's trigger job, big custom hogue wood grips, and trigger boot - It is an absolute pleasure to shoot. Aside from a little holster wear, this gun is in pristine shape, and I consider myself lucky to have it!

Thought I might as well chime in on this one.
My preferred carry gun is a S&W Model 29 .44 magnum, with a 3" barrel. And what's more, it came from the factory that way. Most 29's had a 4", 6" or 8-3/8" barrel. This little 3" kicks like a government mule with full house magnum loads, but with .44 spcl. loads it isn't really all that bad. Additionally, the 3" was only made for one year. Enough on that one.
I also have other wheel guns that I don't carry much. I have a 6" Model 29 Smith, a Smith Model 25 .45 acp revolver in SS from 1989. I also have a 1950 and a 1955 Model 25 Smith, also in .45 acp. I also have a Tarus .357 mag w/ 2" barrel that I carry from time to time. I think my favorite wheel gun though is my Old Model Ruger Super Blackhawk w/7-1/2" barrel in .44 magnum. It just fits me. I also have several black powder revolvers, but those are for another post.

Hey folks...new member here. Good to meet y'all.
I carry a wheel gun. High Standard sentinel mark 2, 357 mag 2 1/2". They were made by Dan Wesson for High Standard, and take the DW barrel kits.....15vs I think. Started carrying a revolver after a malfunction with an auto loader.
