    Talking .357sig... nasty flash!

I carried a G33 for many years. Converted it to the .40. Same case size and magazines work either way. Most .357sigs with removable barrel can be conveted by dropping in the .40 barrel.

The .357sig has the stopping/penetration power of the .38 special and some ammunition mfgr's boast the .357 magnum balistics. If you're running up against any obstructions (car windshields, car door etc.) I'd like to have the .357sig.

But like it's been said by many in these posts, the muzzel flash on a .357 is incredible! And the ammo, even plinkin specials, is very expensive compared to .40.

As far as the 9? Not enough stopping power. One of the big reasons the operators over seas carry the venerable .45!

Which ever way you decide to go, try it at the range before you buy, use the heaviest load you can during your testing and be sure to try it in your weak hand before you make the decision. It may look pretty but if it don't fit the hand, it ain't no good to ya! I know, I have a couple of "pretty" pistols in the safe and not on my hip.

    Triggers

I am curious about the Mass compliant triggers.
Are all pistols sold in Massachusetts stamped "MA COMPLIANT"?

I was thinking of away around that BS.

Perhaps find a pistol, new, or used with a normal trigger on Buds Guns and have it shipped to your FFL?

    Is that legal?

So far as i know, its not legal to ship a non compliant gun into Mass like that. I think it WAS legal to bring in USED pre-ban guns for a time, but now its only legal if the gun can be proved to have been owned in Mass before the rules went into affect. I dont think any FFL in mass would risk the penalties that are likely involved in doing something like that. Knowing Mass, that was likely thought of and made illegal.
