I voted for Sig with Colt a close second followed by Ruger. Those are the only 3 handguns I own so I can't comment on the other makes.

I have shot a few from different manufacturers, picked by FNP40 because it fits and is pretty accurate. Can't believe no one has said, "Best bang for the buck". There, just said it.

I personally am a 1911 man, I own 11 of them from mild to wild, but then I tried the crappy plastic Glock!! And instantly fell in love!!! So its like my vehicles, when I wanna be flashy I show of in my 69' 426 hemi charger (the car equivalent of the 1911) and any other time its my Chevy 4x4(Glock).

Ruger, Especially Revolvers-Innovative (Ruger LCR), consistent quality, durable, reliable, variety (hunting to CC), Customer Service, fairly priced. Followed closely for same reasons, Kahr Arms, semi-autos, except for hunting. Take care!

  6. Now I'm new to the forum and cc part of handguns, however I like springfields of all flavors, mostly because that is what my dad and I always shot I have xds in the usual calibers real close to 3500 rounds and never a problem
