Thread: Zimmerman pulled over in Texas for speeding

  1. Zimmerman pulled over in Texas for speeding

Just saw on the news tonight he was pulled over just east of Dallas for speeding. Cop didn't know who he was at first, but GZ informed he was carrying concealed (as required in TX). LEO checks for warrants, comes back and tells him to slow down and doesn't write him a ticket.

He also told him not to touch it. It was in the truck's glovebox.

I heard when he got out of the car and started following the officer it was more along the lines of "I don't need you to do that...."

I wonder how many hundreds, if not thousands of people get pulled over for speeding every day in Texas? Why is Zimmerman newsworthy?
Anyone who says, "I support the 2nd amendment, BUT"... doesn't. Element of Surprise: a mythical element that many believe has the same affect upon criminals that Kryptonite has upon Superman.

Perhaps because the media is just chomping at the bit to excoriate him for anything they possibly can?

Since GZ "got away with murder", they want nothing better than for him to be put in jail for anything. It does not matter at all to the racists, media and anti-gun crowd that a jury determined that the Prosecution did not prove any of the charges "beyond a reasonable doubt". This, despite the Prosecution failing to provide evidence they should have to the Defense or throwing in alternate charges at the last minute. GZ might as well get used to the fact he is hated by many who want everything bad to happen to him, "just to make life fair".
-----It doesn't matter that one juror now speaks out she thought he was guilty since she eventually agreed with the "not guilty" decision. I served on a murder retrial in the 80's where a black man shot a white man. We all felt the shooter was wrong of numerous behaviors but based upon the explicit directions of the judge, could not convict him of murder or manslaughter. And this shooter was not beating up the victim. The retrial was ordered on appeal stating the original judge did not give correct instructions to the jury, leading to his conviction. We were not happy that we could not convict, as we felt the Prosecution did not prove he was guilty of a crime described by either Second Degree or Manslaughter.

My first thought when I saw the report this morning was that the media was completely irresponsible for reporting such a trivial story, not because it was a trivial story, but because there are a lot of people who would like to kill George Zimmerman, and now they know the general area he's in and the color and make of the vehicle he's driving.

Wonder where he'll go now? Doesn't seem like Texas is any more safe for him than Florida at this point.

No one has ever heard me say that I "hate" cops, because I don't. This is why I will never trust one again though: You just never know...

I had dinner last night with a couple who were my neighbors 20 years ago. They are libs but I really did not know just how gullible they were until we got to talking about GZ. The wife said that GZ "got away with murder"! Then proceeded to tell us that they had staged a fake rescue to make GZ look good. I said to them that they COULD NOT REALLY BELIEVE THAT! They then said that that was what "they" said. It was a good thing that we had finished dinner because I could not take any more. I then told my wife that it was time to go and then got up and left.

This is why we are in trouble in this country. We have to many people who take whatever the lib-o-rat media says as gospel!! I fully expect the media to blow this all out of proportion and want the trooper to be fired. I really feel sorry for GZ. The libs will never let him have any peace. The libs are rabid that they could not get his scalp!!!

I wish we could do more to help George!!
