What is the protocol for pulling a Taser rather than gun?

I wonder how the story might have ended if he used his weapon instead?

I wonder if he ever left a review at Amazon for the eyeglass camera he purchased there. He did say that it was the best $35 he ever spent. That camera sure gave us an officer's eye-view of how things look.
