  1. I spent three years Fairchild (75-79), but ten of my twenty at Castle. I just like the name SkyKing, but yes it was the callsign of airbourne SAC sircraft.

    Sorry for the late reply. I was in B-52s from '65 to '71 with a bunch of Arc Light stuff included. I retired in 1980 and flew for Beech Aircraft (later Raytheon) retiring in 2001. Your "Skyking" sounds familiar from my SAC Command Post days talking on the Red Phone to "Skyking!" Those days seem somewhat distant now. I was stationed at Fairchild AFB and Barksdale AFB in the B-52 and Schilling AFB in the B-47.
