    There lies my problem. It was the Press that "taggged" him an analyst. Now, it could well be that things have changed since I was in.... but, typically you were in the "collection" mode for your first tour. You then graduated to collection supervisor/reporter during your next few years. Finally, you were accorded the "honors" of being an analyst. After a few years at that you were a senior analyst and trainer for the field.

    the MOS title has analyst in it

    I find it amazing that our POS president could not have held a security clearance base on his associations.

    In this case, sounds like an exercise in title hyping. As in "Sanitation Engineer" rather than Garbage Collector.

    Welcome to 21st century American politics. I agree with you. Nor could he have served in the military, like many of us here did, without a birth certificate!
