Supporting NJ gun owners is a waste

Okay, I think I get it now. Theory is that the NRA is fighting on other fronts and will get to NJ in time, after NY, MA, PA.

I get the idea that NJCSD has some really smart folks who can do some good work and their hearts are in the right place. However, they have raised $2556 toward a 500k goal since August 2008 to support an effort to sue NJ.

    NJCSD War Chest

Is this “group” one or two smart well-intentioned folks with NO backing? A “war chest” can’t be effectively started without much bigger seed money. Also, they certainly shouldn’t advertise “We are losers” and expect to succeed. NJ is apparently just one big Chicago or NYC and we shouldn’t waste our time there until some other places get fixed first. With Chicago, NYC and Seattle we have the rest of the state to help.

I’ll stop pestering NJ gun owners to join ANJRPC (and I won't join) and go bother the Massachusetts folks who seem to have some chance of knocking down the anti-gun monster.

A waste is a terrible thing to mind.
