Thread: N.J. residents must show 'justifiable need' to get permit to carry handgun in public,

  1. There's a website where you may pinpoint convicted sex offenders (surprisingly, there are women on those lists too) that register with police, if they register at all. I don't remember it, otherwise I'd post a link.

There are two offenders living within 2 miles of my wife and I.

I don't know if that would qualify as proving a "need" of a firearm, however.
I'm a firm believer in two term limits for all politicians; one in office, the other in prison.

The NJ Second Amendment Society has just filed an Amicus Curiae brief in a case appeal to the NJ Supreme Court. Details can be read at:

while I wish you are your group all the best and thank you for your efforts I have to say that I think that your efforts will be in vain.

  5. Nothing has changed in the Soviet socialist State of N.J. There is no reciprocity with any other state. That's why we have the sick "knockout game" in Jersey City and the 2nd highest murder rate in the country (Camden), after Chicago. N.J. is the capital of "common sense gun control".

Soviet Socialist State of NJ is a very good description. The 2nd Amendment is a "foreign concept" here. Our founding fathers would not have been comfortable here, or welcomed here today.

"A free people ought not only to be armed and disciplined, but they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status of independence from any who might attempt to abuse them, which would include their own government." -- George Washington
