Airport body scanners violate Islamic law, Muslims say
Saying that body scanners violate Islamic law, Muslim-American groups are supporting a “fatwa” – a religious ruling – that forbids Muslims from going through the scanners at airports.

I say don't allow them to fly if they don't want to go through the body scanners.. Give them a choice.. if they don't want to walk through a body scanner because of their faith, then tell them to take the bus, boat, etc..

We'll probably cave...throw ourselves on our swords of apology at the altar of political correctness.

I say F'em!!! Let 'em walk!! This country doesn't operate under Sharia Law. Isn't that why we fought that war in Iraq? To get rid of Sharia ******** like this there? Why in the world would we now entertain that ******** here??

Oh...I almost forgot. They have the White House now.

    Never mind.

You need to read the whole story before jumping on it.

The TSA stressed that the body scanners are “optional to all passengers.” Those who turn them down, “will receive equivalent screening that may include a physical pat-down, hand-wanding, and other technologies. Physical pat-downs are performed by Transportation Security Officers of the same sex as the passenger in a private screening area, if the passenger requests.”

Muslim groups say the scanners go against their religion. One option offered to passengers who don’t want to use the scanners would be a pat down by a security guard. The Muslim groups are urging members to undergo those instead.

    No big deal.

Yes I read those lines, and have to say that is just not going to work. How would like some strange guy checking your genitals in front of hundreds of other people... Yup that will go over well.
