    For the first time in something like 5 years, the average price nationwide is below $2. It's $1.89 right now.

    While this is typically the time of year during which gas prices are at their lowest point, I did not expect to see them fall this far this fast.

    I apologize if this seems like the thread that just won't go away, but I'm just amazed at how low they've fallen. Today, the cheapest I saw was $1.34.
