Scientific Proof That God Is Real!

There have been a lot of people who have refuted the idea of God existing, even gone so far as to provide numerous passages from the Bible which they consider to be untrue. I found this video on YouTube which has a pretty good argument for the existance of God. Watch the video and see what you think. I would be interested in your thoughts.

Doesn't matter what you put up. Atheists and Agnostics won't be happy until we all believe what they do. It's not ok with them that Christians beleive in God and display a cross to indicate their faith. Atheists and Agnostics have nothing to display to show their none faith. All the science in the world will ever prove to them the existence of an entity they can't see nor touch. Anything that doesn't fit into the material world of humanity just can't be for them. To each his own.

All I have to say is look at your bible there is more then one God told to us by your Christian God who orders you to only worship him and no other Gods. For your God to say that means that there is more then just him. Which is why I am left wondering why Christians have a hard time excepting that fact from their bible.

Kasper: You are absolutely correct, the Bible does reference other gods, FALSE gods. Have you read the the Commandment "I am the Lord, thy God who have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt not have strange gods before me." Have you heard of Baal? False god, among others. Lots of references to false gods but there is only one TRUE God. May be hard for you to accept but, don't lose heart, you will know the truth one day soon.

I have always found it entertaining to discuss the non existence of God with atheists. I ask for proof and they respond, "if there was a God he wouldn't allow... suffering, or what ever their hot button is". All that proves I say is that God as you define him does not exist. That has nothing to do with whether or not God exists. The atheist definition is by definition not a definition of God. The assertion that there is no God is as much a statement of faith as the declaration that there is a God. I don't find conclusive evidence to either position - atheist or believer, except in my heart. Therein lies all the proof I need.

The presentation above is interesting but not compelling to me. The weakest link is omniscience. I think a huge leap is made from the evidence.

The faster than light experiments have been inconclusive. Some claiming incorrectly evaluated evidence. Also it seems difficult to replicate which is always a red flag in research. At any rate it is not a readily accepted fact by the scientific community.

I did find it a bit entertaining that Russian science was used to establish the existence of God. Pretty funny given where they come from philosophically.

I have to leave right now but I'll be back later to further look at this. Thoughtful stuff, thanks for posting it.

OK back again and just re watched it and have huge issues. First let my reiterate, I'm a believer. For me the proof is found in my heart. Scientific evidence "proving" Gods existence or non existence can't overcome what I have in my heart. I am not a physicist, but science has always been my hobby.

1- Eternal. A force connecting 2 freed electrons, wherein that force is neither measured, quantified, or even adequately described is not proof of being "eternal" though all time.
The author later uses this to prove it knows everything past present and future ??? Wow, massive leap to an unsupported conclusion.
2- Omnipresent. This "force" connects ALL free electrons?? Really? He checked on ALL of them? Even those in other parts of the universe subject to radiation and gravity fields about
which we have only theoretical knowledge - and the toughest part, we don't know what we don't know so by definition we don't know what those forces may be outside of our
understanding. Author says, "Everything beyond our solar system that is visible" when offering proof of his observations. He is making assertions on the known and unknown
universe based upon the tiny pinprick we can see? The problem is that to evaluate omniscience you have to be omniscient. Otherwise you can's see everywhere and every when
to measure the universality of the observation.
3- Here he jumps from laser photons "knowing " when a dna molecule was added to a vacuum (Did they know it by name? how did they "know" anything about the dna molecule? They
(the laser photons)"collected around the strand and changed to order to what they (laser photons) desired." Ok, do we know what "they" desired? How did the esteemed Russian
scientists know what the "force" desired? Did they talk to it? Did it send them a memo? Sigh. This then is the evidence of OMNIPOTENCE. Really? Did they change the DNA into a
pizza or something useful for the scientists? Was the force trying to let them see what it wanted? The leap from here to omnipotent is a mystery to me.
4- Omniscient. The fact that a free electron behaved in such a way as to indicate it "knew" it was being observed to being all knowing is perhaps the greatest leap of all.

I think the most compelling evidence I'm aware of as to the existence of God is the power of prayer. I read a study some time ago about congregation being asked to pray for people in the hospital. It was a double blind test wherein the congregation members did not know the persons for whom they were praying and those in the hospital did not know anyone was praying for them. Those for whom the prayers were intended had significantly better recovery than the others. That was very interesting.

Proof is in the heart. Not science.

I heard over the weekend a Pastor give a message that in a nut shell says that God made man to live forever. The Pastor said that in a billion years from now we would remember his sermon. The question was where would we be when we recalled the sermon?

I believe atheists are like obummer voters. They are on the wrong side of things and they will never admit they are wrong no matter how much truth they are shown. One day the atheists will know the truth and then it will be to late. They say that a merciful God would not send them to Hell. They fail to understand that Hell is everyone's destination unless they repent, accept Jesus and change the path they are on.

False Gods are still Gods none the less. That is one of the things that got on my nerves in school calling Greek religion a Mythology while You might not believe in it but to call it a myth is just rude. You believe in your God as I believe in things I can interact with. I can not say for sure if there is or is not a god. The video you posted make reasonable assumptions and shows that if those are the four requirements to be a god then a God does exist.

And thank you for your comment I highlighted in Blue.

Kasper: Semantically speaking, you can say false gods are still gods to some but my thesis is that there is only one true God of the Universe. The video presented sufficient proof, I think, for one to conclude that God does exist. As you know, there are those who will not accept that and require tangible, physical proof to verify their stance. I see proof around me daily that our God exists, the world itself is proof to me. I can't accept the thought that we just evolved by some freak accident of nature (and from where did nature evolve?). There is too much design to everyone and everything to be a mere accident. Anyway, I live by faith in our God and His Bible which, with it's inerrancy, should be the tangible proof for unbelievers. My comment, which you highlighted, is my belief that this world, as we know it, is about to go down the drain and the return of the Lord is imminent. For all who are truly non-believers, time is short for them to make their repentance to God. If hell does exist (as some deny), the non-believers have voluntarily chosen it over life with Christ. Christ will not condemn one to hell, the sinner opts for it. I would love to see revival come to the U.S. before we enter our next war for it may be the last where we existed as a nation.

Not a Default Destination - Greg Laurie -

But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.

    -Revelation 21:8

I believe there are people inside the church today who will be outside the gates of heaven. Being in a church does not mean you are getting into heaven. We, as individuals, must put our faith in Jesus Christ because one day we will stand before God all by ourselves.

Heaven is not the default destination of every person. It is promised only to those who have believed in Jesus Christ. We have this warning in Revelation 21:8: "But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."

It takes courage to be a Christian. People will harass you and make fun of you. You may even be physically harmed. Some have lost their lives because they believed in Jesus. It takes courage to make your stand for Christ, especially in our culture today.

The cowardly won't make it into heaven. Some are afraid of what others think, which I have always found amazing. I don't think we would be as concerned about what others think of us if we realized how rarely they do. If you are cowardly, meaning that you won't stand up and follow Jesus, then you won't have any value system. You won't have any absolutes. You will pretty much do what you want.

That leads to being abominable-being wholly caught up in wickedness and evil, pulling out all the stops and removing all restraints. It is going whole hog into evil.

Revelation 21:8 is a warning that we need to heed. Some people may say, "Well, I don't agree with that."

God makes the rules, and we can either follow them or reject them. But it is not for us to edit God.
