Thumbs up Remembering those that have given much at Christmas

A friend sent this to me in an e-mail today. I do not know if the address is the right one or not but I thought this would be a really good idea.

When doing your Christmas cards this year, take one card and

send it to this address. If we pass this on and everyone sends

one card, think of how many cards these wonderful

special people who have sacrificed so much would get.

    A Recovering American Soldier
c/o Walter Reed Army Medical Center
    6900 Georgia Avenue, NW
    Washington, D.C. 20307-5001

If you approve, please pass it on..

Unfortunately, snopes.com: Urban Legends Reference Pages has debunked A Recovering American Soldier, although Holiday Cards for Heroes is one that snopes has said is a good one to do.

Guess I should have checked snoops first. Anyway lets remember those that serve and protect us this Christmas.

Apparently I missed this one the first time around. I'll definitely be using Holiday cards for heroes, though.
