I'm sorry to hear that. I always try to be polite and civil to everyone on these forums. Too bad others cannot take my lead. Currently there is one poster who insists on bashing a particular religion, monotheism, every chance (s)he gets. No doubt this Sh----- poster has run off a lot of people, especially those that practice monotheism.

Mr 50 you and most all the others on the sight are cool, but theres always a moron or troll that is not happy unless they are putting someone else down, and its a shame because she really liked talking with the other members especialy on the ladies collum, I read her stuff, and she was repeating what our carry permit instuctors said to us, and these guys were sherriff deputys, they do almost 40 class's a year over 900 students in total, and they dont know what there talking about ? she still gets on once in a while but not much, and she never post's anymore

Yeah, that describes Sh----- and his constant attempts to put down monotheism as a religious belief and monotheists as a class of people.

I live in LV and open carry at all times. Check with your local LVMPD center ( SE Area Command, SW Area Command, etc.) for any areas that might have a problem ( such as North Las Vegas). If you go into a store, see if there are any signs banning weapons. Costco comes to mind. They do not allow weapons there, so they will not get my money. Some places may ask you to leave the premises while armed. Do so or you may be arrested for trespass after warning (NRS 207.200). Do not go into any public buildings (federal, state, or local offices including schools and libraries). It is not stated in the law if you can go into casinos and banks armed, but it is advisable not to. Gun stores (American Shooters, The Gun Store, Spurlocks, etc.) can direct you to the info you need. If you are stopped by LEO, do what they tell you, but do not touch your weapon under any circumstances. Let them take your weapon to check it; if you even look like you are going to draw it, you may get shot (Eric Scott at Costco). I have never been stopped by Leos, but if I am I will cooperate with them completely.

  7. Nevada auto carry question

I have a Ut and Fla CCW and see that Nevada does not recognize those permits. So, if I am going between Arizona and Utah, do I have to put my pistol in the trunk while driving through Nevada, or can it be in my car visible? And does it have to be unloaded?

You can have it in the car or on your hip as long as it is not covered when it's on your body but anywhere in the car loaded is fine

willing to work and give to those who would not.

  9. Thanks, I was not very clear on that, as the state does not honor CCW from my states. This means I do not have to pack it up in the trunk while driving through Nv. Thanks again. I have another question?: if I am just camping in Nv. is it okay to open carry a loaded gun while in the camping area? I do not know rules for Natl. grounds in that state or state camping areas either.

Then again, maybe our Grammar Police on this sight are raging Liberals who are just trying to make decent gun owners look like a bunch of raging morons. Even if someone happens to bring up the marital situation of your parents during your birth, mothers current profession, whatever the insult happens to be, you can ignore them and post to the threads topic.
