  3. I created this website 11 years ago to help non-residents looking for friendly counties to apply: http://paccw.home.mindspring.com/

It's less of an issue now that PA recognizes certain other states. Also, I think most people just apply to Centre County.

    Non Resident Permit Friendly Sheriff

Here is a good link to the Centre Co. PA sheriff and the info for the application

Centre County Government: Sheriff: License to Carry Firearm Application

    http://www.co.centre.pa.us/sheriff/license_to_carry.pdf

Per other posts on USA Carry, they are VERY friendly to non resdients and process in about 2 weeks time.

  7. We sent my wifes non-resident application in to Centre County Sheriff's Office. Mailed it on Thursday 8 April 2010 and they approved/signed it on Monday 12 April 2010. It came in the mail today 16 April 2010. Now that is fast by any standard.

  8. i filled my app in schulykill co jan 4 ,2011, havent heard nothing yet sherrif told me i should get it in two weeks< not yet any advice?

  9. Change of address in Montgomery County

    Just called in and asked:

Send in a hard copy of your Driver's License, they change your address in the system, your old card remains valid until its renewal date.

For what its worth. I couldn't find anything on the internet about the subject.
