I talked the other day with one of the guys organizing the event. They're hoping and anticipating for a million plus folks to show up.

    Sorry, has stainless steel.

All hardware, including the split liner that locks the blade open, is made of stainless steel. It also has a convenient lanyard hole. Most noticeably, it is pleasantly, comfortably lightweight.

Thanks for the info, and congrats Festus. My niece just graduated basic at FT Jackson and just passed entrance into OCS. May God Bless and protect all who serve and have served.

Irony of the mach is that it's in one of the most hostile parts of the country for gun ownership with one of the most highest crime rates. (That's in and out of the beltway)

I have prepped a broom handle cutting it off flat, painting it a sort of gunmetal color and have rigged some rope as a sling, it will apear to be a rifle barrel when I am carrying it that way. wouldnt it be great if everyone came with such a prop? I'll love it if someone tells me i cant take my "walking stick" somewhere.
