His amazing grace brings tears to my eyes. It is so far beyond what the human mind can comprehend, but the soul somehow "gets it".

The PEACE that only God can give, for those who love Him and are filled with His spirit.

I pray for this Country and the leadership we have now and the leadership that will arise after our current group is gone.

I do believe this statement.. and amen to the prayer, but one of the things that screwed up our country so much is the fact that God has been pushed out of it.. we need to bring him back in... and although the above statement is true.. I believe that he not only wants to hear from us when times are bad and we need his help, but he also wants to hear from us when times are good. thanking him for what we have, for all that is good in our lives. let us strive to be humble and get it right!

I really do understand your statement, don't get me wrong. But,"we" (Christians) didn't push God out of this country, it is not "we" that must bring Him back in. God has not left nor forsaken "we" Christians regardless of what secular society has done. If God is to be reinstated in this country in order to deliver it, the people (secular society) and the government must repent and cry out to God for deliverance, and be assured, that ain't gonna happen.

    This is just wrong.
Spoken like a true atheist. The Bible says to pray without ceasing. God wants to hear all of our thoughts, needs and desires - and praise for His blessings. And lest you put any limits on God it will not diminish His power one watt to answer our smallest or largest prayers. His power is infinite. The lights do not dim in Heaven when God answers prayer.

You are correct avid. When I am at the local casino, I hear peope speaking to God, and Jesus. Sometimes, it don't sound very nice. At sporting events, I often hear the coaching staff, talk about God, but it always when things are going badly for their team. Regarding political races, religion is always used to pander votes.

I am going to have to take the high road, and put you on ignore. This crap has gone on to long. No hard feelings, but it is time to be an adult again. It was fun.

I do understand what you are saying.. but God has been pushed out of our country when 3/4 of the population is christian! it surely was not us who pushed him out.. but how could we let it happen when we are the vast majority? I believe it is up to us to recognize him again in a similar way the founding fathers did. afterall if we don't... who will? the non-christians?

Maybe you answered your own question, Scarecrow. 3/4 of the population might profess to believe in God or a Higher Power or a Creator, but Christian? Maybe not...
