I don't see how that changes the fact that the Constitution totally excludes religion from the cognizance of the U. S. Government.

The Feds have usurped power not given to them by the founders
I agree. The founders didn't grant the government any authority to issue religious recommendations or make a law establishing a duty to trust in God or a law advising us to consider ourselves under God.

The State of New York never had a religious test. The State of Rhode Island never had a religious test. The State of Virginia never had a religious test. North Carolina had a religious test on the books in 1789, but it was ignored. Georgia got rid of it's religious test in 1789. South Carolina got rid of it's religious test before the Bill of Rights was ratified. Pennsylvania dropped it's religious test in 1790. Delaware dropped it's religious test in 1792.

The people of the remaining five states worshiped Satan and were slow to drop their evil religious tests and establish true religious liberty.
Come come Charles, you say you are a lawyer but you are completely ignoring that fact that the 14th amendment had to be incorporated for each of the separate Bill of Rights, the first 10 amendments. And please refrain from calling worship of God worshipping Satan. He might be your god, but he is not my God.

When Charles, did the FEDS exclude religion from government? The date of 1961 or 1962 is a good reference point from my perspective. Not before.

The U. S. Government excluded religion from it's cognizance on many occasions.

For example: On several occasions in the 1830's, during what is known as the "Sunday Delivery Controversy", Congress excluded religion from it's cognizance when it was petitioned by the Presbyterians to repeal a law regarding the Post Office which the Presbyterians claimed violated one of the Ten Commandments.

Huh? I thought it was Bill of Rights that had to be incorporated under the 14th Amendment.

please refrain from calling worship of God worshipping Satan.
Excluding a person from public office on the basis of his religion isn't a legitimate way of worshiping God.

I'm inclined to agree with U. S. Representative Thomas Tudor Tucker (Georgia) that the 12 amendments proposed to the several States in September of 1790 were "calculated to amuse, or rather to deceive."

Separation of church and state is NOT in the first amendment
I agree. It was put there before the Constitution was amended, when they declined to grant the government any authority whatsoever over religion.

The wall mentioned by Jefferson was a one way wall of preventing the government influence over religion, not the other way around as it is currently posited today.
Where did you get the goofy idea that the Constitution should be interpreted according to something written fourteen years after the instrument became the law of the land?

+1 There is no such thing as chances or luck when it comes to standing before God. Just goes to show you that he has absolutely zero idea of what "born again" means..duh! He doesn't have even the slightest knowledge of scripture, if he did he would know the simplest of all scripture in relation to judgment, clearly stating that those who stand before God for judgment will be standing before the White Throne. The "white throne" judgment is the Second Death, where you listen (not speak) as to why you are being cast into the Lake of Fire for all eternity. Christians stand before Christ at the Bema Seat to receive or not receive rewards/crowns." Born again" Christians ARE NOT JUDGED for any sin. There are only two things that anyone will do when standing before God at their time of judgment beside "listen", those two things are...(1) they will bow their knee (2) they will confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord, then they are cast into the Lake of Fire..end of story.
The Most Important Thing That You Can Do In This Life, Is To Determine "WHERE" You Will "LIVE" In The Next Life.

Don't try to reason or argue with a jack-ass, it won't accomplish anything and just wastes both of your time. The FOOL has said there is no God. We have been trying to convince some there is indeed a God, which we KNOW is true, and nothing will convince them otherwise.....so I suggest we just ignore them and go on!

In the 1830's President Andrew Jackson excluded religion from his authority when he told the Dutch Calvinists to get lost when they asked him to issue a religious recommendation to the American people.

Do you know that during the first 72 years of the Republic, the President didn't issue a religious recommendation during 89% of those 72 years?

Do you know John Adams believed he was turned out of the White House because he issued religious recommendations?

Do you know there is no official record of the House or the Senate commencing a daily session with prayer by a Chaplain until the 1850's?

Do you know name of the famous author who was the source of the dubious claim that George Washington added "so help me God" to his oath of office the first time he was inaugurated as President?
