    America is a christian nation???

America’s Degeneracy is Flourishing - Ron Graham

“Yet I had planted thee a noble vine, wholly a right seed: how then art thou turned into the degenerate plant of a strange vine unto me?” Jeremiah 2:21. In this verse God is speaking to Israel through the prophet Jeremiah, but is He saying the same thing to the people of America today?

There can be no doubt that the U.S. is floundering. I don’t mean just financially, although that is certainly a very real concern. No, what I’m talking about is the moral and spiritual degeneracy currently permeating our land.

Down we go, down to new depths of depravity. Most people in America haven’t a clue of what’s just around the next bend in the river concerning this nation, still, to some it obvious. America is currently wallowing in total depravity, but too many Americans see only what they want to see. Instead of a united nation, America is horribly fragmented. Increasingly we’re seen as a populous of “What’s in it for me” and “The devil take ya” attitudes. Something’s rotten in America, people, and I don’t think it’s oily fish.

Since America has given God the boot, American’s no longer give God the glory as the provider of their needs. Being thankful for what they’ve received from God has become a foreign concept. Americans have kicked God out of every aspect of life, even many churches no longer allow Him in. Is there still a question in anyone’s mind as to why America is riding the toilet rim?

Because these days are filled with bad news and economic down turns people keep turning to one political figure after another as a cure-all to fix everything, Instead we should be turning to the only One whose great pleasure it is to heal and restore. This One is mankind’s Savior, Jesus the Christ. According to a recent poll taken in America approximately 80% of Americans profess they are Christian. If that be the case, then we need to ask ourselves two very serious questions: First why, if 80% of America is Christian is there a Muslim determining America’s fate? Second, as a nation that claims its foundation stone was the rock Jesus Christ, why have we done a 180 degree turn away from Him and His teachings? America would not be in the toilet today spiritually and morally if we hadn’t turned our backs on God some decades ago.

Since 80% of American’s claim they are Christians, it tells me many are either lying or they don’t really have a clue as to what it means to be born again. It’s impossible to be a Christian without being born again. A person can’t just claim to be Christian yet have no knowledge of what that designation entails. They can play Christian but we can all see where that gets us.

“Ye are the light of the world.” Matthew 5:14. God surely planted a noble vine when He planted America, a light to a lost world. But that once very influential light has diminished and is now in jeopardy of going completely dark. Many theologians say America never was a Christian nation, only that God, for a time in the past, could claim a much larger portion of the American populous as His children. After doing extensive research into America’s past I’ve come to the conclusion those theologians may be correct. I don’t doubt 80% of Americans claim to be Christian, but I do doubt their spiritual conversion. And it’s as plain as day as to why I have my doubts.

“Ye are the salt of the earth:” Matthew 5:13a. To be a Christian means we adhere, as best we can, to the percepts put forth in the Bible. In the past we made it known to the world that America was a nation of Christ’s followers. If Americans as a majority are Christian, then they certainly aren’t following the Bible as their guide to living that Christ filled life. “...but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.” Matthew 5:13b.

God gave us everything we need in His word, and by that I mean He’s given us His commandments which are to be our guide in all life’s endeavors. But how many of the American’s polled who make up that 80 percentile group above actually read and study their Bibles? Or for that matter, how many even believe the Bible to be God’s inerrant word? It’s only my educated guess, but I would guess that only a small minority of those who claim to be born again (Christian) actually study and believe what they learn from God’s word, and even less actually apply what they’ve learned to their lives.

If I’m correct in my assumption, then as a nation we’re in real trouble, and we have been for some time. Our Liberties, those basic freedoms most take for granted have begun to deteriorate and are in danger of reaching levels not previously seen on the US’s portion of this continent. For this reason, the scarcity of true born again believers in Christ, America may well be beyond help when it comes to re-establishing our once revered republic.

How did the United States of America ever go so long without slipping into a totalitarian run country before now you might ask? I believe the numbers of those who actually placed their faith and their lives in Christ’s hands and allowed Him to have dominion over all aspects concerning their lives as well as their families was at one time much higher than the artificially inflated numbers we see today. In years past there were many more truly born again Christians who stood firm on the morals and precepts proclaimed in God’s word. They are the ones who did the voting and they placed their vote for individuals who had morals and were of good character. This just is not the case today; morals of the majority of American government officials are at an all time low. If we are voting for these folks as Christians, we are voting with our eyes closed.

Morals and character are two forgotten godly characteristics relegated to a by-gone era. These two lost biblical concepts are no longer taught in our public schools nor, I would gather by the evidence, in most American homes today. America’s school children are now taught more about sex than any other subject previously taught in those once hallowed halls. Why? It is and has been the agenda with the sexual revolution crowd for many years. It’s the old “anything goes mindset” the current mantra is “Let’s get today’s children indoctrinated in all manner of sexual practices and perversions at the earliest of ages possible” (in Montana sex education now begins with kindergarteners).

At some point in the not so distant future Americans will be living in a society where everything goes and immorality will be overwhelmingly practiced. Promiscuity will no longer be taboo but demanded from every child and applauded when they’ve reached the pinnacle of sexual depravation. “But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!” Matthew 18:6, 7.

Evil is ever present, and when not held in check spreads like cancer. Who holds evil in check? Holy Spirit filled Christians. The degeneracy of America has been coming for some time now, which tells me Christianity has been diminishing right along. So when we read of polls taken proclaiming an 80 percentile range of Christians in this country know this, something is amiss.

With little or no moral or spiritual education as children, and even less discipline, crime flourishes in America. Thus the national crime rates are continually rising; hence America builds more prisons to accommodate the ever increasing criminal population.

A very real and current danger arising from an over taxed populous is that many local and state principalities can no longer afford to hold onto their prison population. For example, the duration of court assigned sentences are being drastically cut because of a lack of funding to increase the size of county jails and for the jailers who supervise the criminals. This carries over on a larger scale when related to state and federal prisons. So criminals are being released back into the unsuspecting law abiding population long before they’ve paid their debt to society and where they may, with impunity, continue their lives of crime. That old adage of “If you can’t do the time don’t do the crime” is no longer relevant.

So criminals are turned back out on the streets and it becomes a never ending cycle of crimes leading to more crimes leading to more regulations which also become just as impossible to enforce because of the lack of enforcers. And it’s all because America has turned from being a nation made up of moral Christ followers, to a majority of followers of the religion of secular humanism where anything goes. The truth of God’s word is no longer embraced but debased.

The fault for the flourishing degeneracy of America lies with all Americans, but even more so with those who profess to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We allowed this evil to progress by what we allowed to be taught to our children in public schools. When our children, while attending public schools for twelve years, are taught that there is no God, that humans evolved from pond scum, and that our prehistoric ancestors were primates, we must expect and accept the consequences of those teachings.

Ultimately what happens to human beings indoctrinated with the lie of evolution, which is pure satanic, is a migration toward animalistic tendencies. Since those who are taught this lie are being convinced they evolved from an animal with no moral restrictions, they no longer perceive any moral absolutes, and the sky’s the limit when it comes to depravation.

When degeneracy is allowed to flourish in any society, all too soon that society will be transformed into a wasteland no longer fit for human occupancy. A nation that continues to loosen its morals and discards its character will, before long, end up as did the people that existed in the days of Noah just prior to the great deluge. And we all know what happened to those sick and depraved individuals, or do we? The Bible must be believed and interpreted literally to understand the account of Genesis 6 properly and to understand why God sent that worldwide flood. Those who don’t believe history, or who allow history to be changed to fit a more civil concept or even forgotten for that matter, are doomed to repeat it. “But as the days of Noe (Noah) were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” Matthew 24:37.

The key to a moral society is to live by God’s word. When His word is disparaged, or eliminated completely as it has been in our public school system, as well as in many homes in America, moral decay inevitably moves in. How can degeneracy and moral decay be abated? It can’t. At least not without God. Personally, I don’t see God being embraced by the majority of Americans any time soon.

America – 80% Christian? Not hardly. America – flourishing in degeneracy? Now we’re getting to the truth. America – willing to make changes and head back toward God? Not so you’d notice. America – a nation headed for self-destruction? Likely, very likely.

God save us from our own foolishness

WHY? The Pattern of Hostility Toward Christians

    Good Morning All,

I'm headed for the big rally at the Harrison County Courthouse
    in Cadiz, Ohio Tomorrow.
This morning I read the new 140-page report released by the Family Research Council and Liberty Institute report on hostility toward Christians and Christianity in the U.S.

One hostility that isn't listed is the lawsuit by the Freedom From Religion Group in Wisconsin against the City of Steubenville, Ohio to have a cross removed from Our City Logo.

For all of you too young to remember the threat of Communism.

I want to let you know their two biggest stubbing blocks to the take over of America were our 1st. Amendment The Freedom of Religion and Our 2nd. Amendment the Right to Bear Arms.

Well, the first thing they did was change the word Communism and Marxism to Progressivism, and now as you see below they have done a fairly good job of destroying the 1st. Amendment and the 2nd Amendment shouldn't be a problem.

We need All Christians, and Freedom Lovers to get involved, before it is TOO LATE.

1st Amendment -- Freedom of Religion
1st Amendment -- Freedom of Speech
2nd Amendment -- Right to Bear Arms
5th Amendment -- Protection Against Abusive Government

10th Amendment -- Principle of Federalism

Do we still have the freedoms this Country was founded on or are they slowly being eroded away?
Come learn the truth about our liberties and how we can save them before it's too late.

    Speakers include:
Father Dennis Schoolmen’s, a priest from Our Lady of Peace in Wheeling, WV
Mike Jamison - COO/Senior VP of Operations, Trinity Coal with over 30 years experience in the mining industry.
Hombre Leggett, pastor of the Church of the Harvest, avid historian and prior candidate for Congress

Plan to make a day of it and join us as we head to St. Blairsville for the America Is Rising Rally.

Report Highlights Consistent Pattern of Hostility Toward Christians

By Paul Stanley , Christian Post Reporter
    August 22, 2012|2:23 pm

A new 140-page report released by the Family Research Council and Liberty Institute reveals a pattern of hostility toward Christians and Christianity in the U.S. The report was released earlier this week and includes over 600 incidents over a 10-year period.

The attacks range from rulings from the judiciary branch to an elementary school student who was physically lifted from his seat and reprimanded for praying before eating his lunch. Yet another example shows a Christian couple was fired as apartment complex managers and forced to move because a painting with a Christian reference was displayed in their office.

Other examples cited in the report include:

    • A federal judge threatened "incarceration" to a high school valedictorian unless she removed references to Jesus from her graduation speech.

    • City officials prohibited senior citizens from praying over their meals, listening to religious messages or singing gospel songs at a senior activities center.

    • Following U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs' policies, a federal government official sought to censor a pastor's prayer, eliminating references to Jesus, during a Memorial Day ceremony honoring veterans at a national cemetery.

    • A public university's law school banned a Christian organization because it required its officers to adhere to a statement of faith that the university disagreed with.

    • The U.S. Department of Justice argued before the Supreme Court that the federal government can tell churches and synagogues which pastors and rabbis it can hire and fire.

    • Through the Affordable Care Act ("ObamaCare"), the federal government is forcing religious organizations to provide insurance for birth control and abortion inducing drugs in direct violation of their religious beliefs.
    • The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs banned the mention of God from veterans' funerals, overriding the wishes of the deceased's families.

    • A federal judge held that prayers before a state House of Representatives could be to Allah but not to Jesus.

"America today would be unrecognizable to our Founders. Our First Liberty is facing a relentless onslaught from well-funded and aggressive groups and individuals who are using the courts, Congress, and the vast federal bureaucracy to suppress and limit religious freedom," said Kelly Shackelford, president of Liberty Institute. "This radicalized minority is driven by an anti-religious ideology that is turning the First Amendment upside down."

Both organizations presented the findings of the report during a joint press conference in Tampa, Fla., on Monday prior to the Republican Party Convention platform committee to raise that awareness.

The Liberty Institute further pointed out that religious liberty is "facing a relentless onslaught from well-funded and aggressive groups" that are using whatever means available to suppress or attack religious freedom.

FRC's Tony Perkins added, "As dark as this survey is, there is much light. The secularists' agenda only advances when those who love liberty are apathetic. Let this be a call to stand for religious liberty in the United States."

Where is the Separation of Church and State?

The City of Steubenville hasn't made their final decision if we are going to fight for the City Logo of do what many others have done and back down from the Marxist Socialist Athest take over of America.

As I look back at the Great Document we call The Constitution of the United States of America and try to understand how we have fallen to the point we are it all comes down to one decision made by the highest Court in the land that took one sentence in a letter ("building a wall of separation") out of context to disregard the true meaning of the Constitution.

1791 Amendment 1 - Freedom of Religion, Press. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

1801 In the Danbury Baptists letter to Thomas Jefferson they said, "those who seek after power and gain, under the pretense of government and Religion, should reproach their fellow men, [or] should reproach their Chief Magistrate, as an enemy of religion, law, and good order, because he will not, dares not, assume the prerogative of Jehovah and make laws to govern the Kingdom of Christ".

1802 Thomas Jefferson's reply, 1/1/1802 "I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature would "make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof," thus building a wall of separation between Church and State.

As I read the 1st. Amendment of the Constitution and those same words in Jefferson's letter, "no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof" and to re-enforce that statement Jefferson also said, "thus building a wall of separation between Church and State"

Than how is it possible that?
The EEOC says It is illegal for an employer to discriminate against a job applicant because of his or her religion if a Baptist Church is looking for a Baptist secretary.

The U.S. Military removed a large cross that had been displayed outside a chapel at Camp Marmal in northern Afghanistan because it violated Army regulations. One serviuce member said, “I really don’t understand why Christians are always attacked, If it was a crescent moon on top of a mosque, it would never be taken down.” I say doesn't this violate "prohibiting the free exercise thereof".

A flowerbed shaped like a cross was removed from a park in Columbus, Ga. after non-Christians raised concerns and the city’s mayor determined that the cross violated federal law. The Windsor Park Homeowners Association was responsible for upkeep of the flowerbed and at the request of city officials they removed the two arms, now the cross is shaped like a rectangle – and conforms to federal law. So much for free exercise.

Beginning in 1989, a cross on top of Mount Soledad in La Jolla, California since 1913 almost ten years before the immediate area around the cross was turned into a war memorial the Mt. Soledad Cross had been involved in a continuous litigation regarding its legal status. According to the interpretation of the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution and thus violates the separation of church and state.

Can someone please show me where it is stated there is a separation of Church and State in the Constitution? I can't find it.

The Declaration of Independence was the promise; the Constitution was the fulfillment. ``The sacred rights of mankind are not to be rummaged for, among old parchments, or musty records. They are written, as with a sun beam in the whole volume of human nature, by the hand of the divinity itself; and can never be erased or obscured by mortal power.'' Alexander Hamilton

    American Decline

We often think of America as a Christian nation and for this reason many believe it will continue to be strong until the Lord returns. This country’s founders wrote many Judeo-Christian principles into its law: the equality of men, justice, freedom of worship, freedom of speech and others. Americans have supported more missionary and evangelistic efforts than any other people in history. There are churches in virtually every community. We have “In God We Trust” on our money.

But America is not and never has been a Christian nation. Political processes run the government, not righteousness. Pleasure motivates the people, not righteousness. Legal precedent and clever lawyers determine justice, not righteousness. The heart of the people determines the heart of the nation and Americans focus on self, not God. America is a secular nation, based on some Christian principles and containing some Christian citizens. There will be Christians in America as long as there are Christians in the world, but America is not a Christian nation.

God always works with a remnant. He often chooses the few, the weak and the insignificant to demonstrate his own glory. Like Israel, America may have to experience devastation to purify the remnant. In fact, Israel believed its status as God’s chosen nation would protect it from hardship and false prophets declared that God would not allow anything to happen to the nation. The people believed that right up to the moment they were conquered by their enemy. Similarly, many Americans believe God will protect our nation because of our Christian heritage, but that’s not the only factor to consider.

One clear principle in scripture is the spiritual Law of Accountability: to whom much is given, much is demanded (Lk 12:48). God has blessed America generously throughout our history but we are squandering much of his blessing on self-indulgence. As a nation, we have turned our back on him, made policies and laws that are clearly anti-God, and embraced political correctness allegedly to avoid offending those having other beliefs, even to the point of renaming national holidays having Christian origins. Unfortunately, the attitudes and lifestyles of many Christians in America are indistinguishable from those of non-Christians. America does not play a significant role in end-time Bible prophecy. Unless American Christians return to God, the nation’s present decline in world influence will continue.

So much for the fabricated Separation of Church and State

Jefferson was one of the least religious of all our Founders, yet he as leader of the House along with the Senate decided to hold Church in the Capital Building on Dec. 4th. 1800.
After Jefferson became President he also had the Marine band play for Church services every Sunday. Several different Churches held services in the Capital every Sunday.

The Wisdom of a Friend & Gun Control US or UN?

    Good Morning All,

The day after tomorrow will be the turning point of our Nation, one way or the other.

A Baptist Minister and a very good friend of mine from Texas sent a copy of an e-mail he sent to an Obama supporter. Delmer pretty much covers everything I'm feeling but I can't seem to put it into the words.

Also I'm passing on a U-Tube from Wayne (Our choice US or UN)

There is so much riding on this election, Please Vote!

    May God Bless America Again

Chuck, I am sending you this copy of an e-mail reply that I wrote to a dyed in the wool democrat in the Carolinas.
Enjoy and We are praying each day for the blessing of God and Jesus Our Savior.

    God Bless, Delmer

    Subject: Old fools

I am sorry that you look at your self as an old fool.
I personally am not foolish or a fool because I do not believe that any one man can solve our problems. But to solve the problems, we need good, righteous and honorable men to lead us in the right direction. We have provided this president with 4 years to prove himself and I must say, in my opinion he has not lead worthily. Instead of standing up and being an honorable and honest man, he is willing to blame everyone else for his and others mistakes and problems. It does not matter how or by whom we are where we are, but how we get out of the situation, the quickest and most direct and constitutional way possible. In my opinion He has done none of these.
I notice that you have indicted and convicted Romney on your statement that 47% of the people consider themselves as victims. My understanding of victims is that, these people think that they deserve and the government is required to provide them with their wants, not necessarily their needs.
Looking at the number 47 from a prospective of where this number was obtained is one of interpretation. Are we looking at the 47% of the total population, 47% of those that are now receiving benefits because of the loss of productive jobs and now having to depend on assistance, or are we talking about the 47% of those that have never worked and have no intention of ever working, and demand care from the government. (You and Me) . Those that have worked all their lives and have provided for themselves and their families.
Studies have shown that the old standard of being poor is no longer applicable. Most, but maybe not all in the last group, would in our younger days, be considered affluent because they have cell phones, TV, water and food.
Sorry, Romney may be talking about you but he is not talking about me. If it were up to me I would never have gone onto Medicare, because it now cost me twice to three times more for insurance than it did before I was required by law to enroll for it. Medicare is just another way for the government to rip of the public. As far as Social Security, the government is not GIVING me this money. This is the money that I and my employers paid in and was supposed to be set aside for me in my retirement. Back in the 60’s the government saw a money pit and decided that this money would, could and should be used to prosper the socialistic form of government we now have.
I will say that this was instructed by the Democratic officials but it was also instituted by the Republicans. I do believe that this US of A is heading down the path of no longer being a Republic but being that of a Socialist or even a Marxist country.
You are saying that Romney is only paying 15% of his income to the government. You and I are dumb for not trying to get the same rate. He, just like you and I , are paying what the government requires us to pay. If you want to gripe why not gripe about the people that are not paying any of their taxes. It has been found that Government workers have the highest rate of non-payment of taxes of any group in the nation. Why not gripe about them. If they would pay their taxes we all could pay less.
I guess you can say that I am a fair tax party person. I believe that if God can get by on 10% of our wages then the government should and could do the same with a 10 % cut of my wages. I do not feel that we need to increase taxes, we need to cut spending. The government (President and Congress) think they are to subsidize any and every group, organization or institution that wants OUR money. The best way for them to become a productive part of society would be to get the public to invest in their group, organization or institution. I may not agree with each program, but if they get enough others to support them then they have that right. But I do not think that my money should have to support dissidents to my way of life.
I do not know if Romney is a (Christian) or not but I do believe that he believes in Jesus. Which is more than I can say for some pseudo practicing Christians. If so called Christians would practice what they preach (by tithing and giving) as much as the Mormons do, we would not need the government in our personal business. I also know that the Church of the Latter Day Saints do believe in Jesus. I personally have been to Utah and seen some of their museum pieces of Jesus. If they do not believe in Jesus then why do they have so many sculptures of Him.
If you want to quote the Bible you should go farther by reading:
Matt 26:11, “the poor you will always have with you, but you will not always have me.”
Luke 4:18-19, “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
Luke 6:20-22, “Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God. Blessed are you who hunger now. for you will be satisfied. Blessed are you who weep now, for you will laugh. Blessed are you when men hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man. Who do you consider as poor? Jesus was not concerned with a persons material possessions. He was concerned with the persons Spiritual poorness. (lack of faith in God)
From what I have read and some of what I have written above, no where in the bible does it say that we are to SUPPORT the poor for the rest of their lives. It does say to help them (get back on their own), but does this mean that we are to make them dependent on us or the government for the rest of their lives. I don’t think so.
If that is done then we have not helped them to be free men. We have made them to be dependent on others for their survival. This is exactly what Socialists and Marxists want. All a person has to do is look at those countries that provide everything. Look at the Socialist countries of Europe, they are collapsing as we speak.
When looking back into our history, it is found that socialism did not work in Jamestown. This was a small society and it could not work,so how can it work in a large society?
Going farther back into history to the Roman Empire. Robert Habenstien found, the Roman civilization emerged, it flourished, under went major political, social, economic and religious changes, and finally disintegrated rapidly under the onslaught of the barbarians from without and moral decay from within.
Is this what we want of our country of the Free and the Brave?
You have said that the Republicans want to spend more money on bombs, guns and Aircraft carriers.
If you will look back in the history of both parties, you will see that the Democrats have been just as prolific at human destruction as any party in American History. I have not seen any agenda put out by the Republican party that wants more bombs, guns, or aircraft carriers. But I will say that if it is to protect OUR people who are at home and abroad trying to help others than I do agree with it. Maybe we need a President that is willing to speak softly but carry a big stick again. If your estimate is correct that 42% of the weapons are purchased by the USA, then who buys the other 58% of the weapons? Most are purchased by governments that do not like the USA. With statistics like that, I would say that we are behind. Behind the 8 ball. Maybe it is time to support our PEOPLE and stop supporting governments and fascist organizations that want to destroy our Republic. We need people that are willing to fight for our form of society and our constitutional way of life. We do not need leaders that bow to other governments. I do not know if Romney will be the right person to lead. But I do know that Obama has not been the right person to LEAD.
As we only have 3 days left before elections this shall and will be the last communication regarding politics or religion from me.
    Thanks and God Bless.

I know I have come in extremely late to this conversation, and admittedly, I have not waded through everyone of these posts (I don't have that much time on my hands). However, in reading the First Amendment I understand it to be written as thus:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
It says CONGRESS shall make NO LAW respecting an ESTABLISHMENT of religion, or PROHIBITING the free exercise thereof. It does not say if I put a cross outside a town hall it must be removed. It does not say if I'm a public school librarian and have a cross pendant I shall be fired, it does not say that we must remove the word God from the Pledge of Allegiance, and it does not say we should remove all baccalaureate services from school graduations. To be tyrannical against displaying a religious item IS prohibiting the free exercise of one. No where in that Amendment does it say the words "separation of church and state".

The USA has an official religion already.
America was "One Nation Under God, and indivisible" at one time,
Our "Nation" has officially removed and kicked GOD out of the picture. (Who did this?)
We have been divided and then sub divided and now sub sub divided into so many tiny groups that it is now easier than ever to vilify what used to be a majority. (Who did that?)
The Great Experiment of the United States of America is now teetering on a precipice of; can people govern themselves as the founders laid out for us, or are people too stupid and only the select elite are capable of governing us. (the same people that divided us into the many groups by the way). Who are they?
Do we tilt into the trash heap of history and become like all the other country's of the world and become subjects or do we tilt back to the founding principles and revert back to the people granting power to the Government.
My guess is that we will continue to turn our backs (as a nation) on God and squander all that we have become. The ignorant masses that prefer to be ruled will be tricked into fundamental change, and calling the shots for the rest of us.
This is what happens when "secular humanism" created by progressive liberals, becomes the "Official Religion" of the United States in direct opposition to the First Amendment.
    Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;
It says nothing about the Courts who have created the official religions of environmentalism and secular humanism. Wait until these two merge or have they already.

Sounds like 1 Samuel 8 in the Old Testament which just so happened to be what our Pastor reviewed yesterday. The masses have forsaken God and in turn wanted a King like other Nations. King, President a rose by any other name.............
