    One, but not the only reason, I vote is because a soldier died so I could.

    Very good post. Firearm owners are the largest single issue voting bloc in the country. If only 2/3 of the firearm owning public voted, we could control who is and isn't in the white house along with deciding the majority of senators and house reps. Unfortunatly, firearm owners only go out and vote the single issue the election after a draconian gun law has been passed. In 1994, when the democrats lost control of both houses, there were two bad laws passed and signed into law by slick willy one and two years prior. The Brady Act and the Assault Weapons Ban. We were fortunate that both had sunset dates, otherwise, they would still be on the books. In 2008, I wonder how many firearm owners voted for O'Bama. No doubt millions.
