The Constitution grants Congress power to provide for the general welfare.

The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States

ahhh come on, dont take your ball and go home and cry to mommy, with tears telling her "theres a man out there who doesn't believe the same way I do, and he has different opinions than me too! I tried to ignore the point of his posts by changing the subject, and he didn't fall for it."

Its okay, just ignore those that disagree with you, and who have a sense of humor about life. You go ahead and take life too serious, and only pick and choose the verses of the bible to follow. Whatever helps you sleep at night.

Online dad, you have made the "ignore" list. "Have an nice eternity" means he is ignoring you forever, and ever. THAT'LL BE THE DAY

If the fed govt didn't provide for the general welfare of the people, then wouldn't things be a bit more chaotic? Such as your drivers license would be good in one state, but not another. Or your insurance would only cover you during certain times/places. Sure the fed govt may not have a direct hand in either of these examples, but they have set forth rules and regs that have to be followed.

Or another example is the military. Wouldn't that also be a form of socialism? Everone works off the same pay scale, (regardless of job, but special circumstances apply), with standardized health care provided, food provided, housing provided...

I'm not sure if I should be proud or sad. Proud because I have made such an impact on his shallow life that he cannot contend with the doubt that has been put before him. Or should I be sad, because I will miss all of his insulting comments toward the "NON-BELIEVERS"

Oh well, either way I think it adds up to I WIN

onlinedad, how did you know HK lives with his mother? He got very angry with me when I "outed" him for not being a police officer. He will not keep the ignore on for long. I give him a couple days and he will be back, hurling the personal insults while hiding behind the bible.

I think it's time to realize that Onlinedad, Charles Cooper, and theicemanmpls are here on the forum to start trouble. Look at the post records of these guys. Last time I looked, this was a forum about guns and concealed carry. So there are a few political threads, too. But who comes up to a gun forum to juszt to argue politics?

These three. Best way to put a stop to this stuff is to stop posting replies to their rants. Best way to stop a troll is not to bite at their bait. Oh, they'll follow you around the board, trying to hijack your threads. But this stuff is getting so childish as to be stupid. Ignore the morons and they'll take THEIR ball and go play somewhere else. They just feed off the controversy.

That is why I now have them on ignore where I do not even have to see any of their drivel. From now on I refuse to have a battle of wits with unarmed trolls.
By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house;by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith Heb.11:7

Thats interesting that you bring this up. Especially since I have been around longer than the "political" threads had its own channel. But really thats besides the point. Yes this is a concealed carry site, and I do appriciate having a place that does have plenty of information, and a gathering of like minded individuals when it comes to our right to own, and carry firearms.

However, the problem arises when some holier than thou types come on and get all in an uproar when someone with a different opinion makes a comment. If you go back and read through my posts, I'm pretty sure that you will not find my mentioning my own religious affiliation. So my "rantings" are just my way of standing up to those that have the "I'm better than you, because I have .... religion" attitude. Feel free to keep your religious retoric to yourself, and there wont be a retailiation. Or, be prepared to defend your beliefs, since I will question them.

Oh yeah, thanks for reffering to me as a troll... I guess thats the upstanding christian way of dealing with people with a different opinion than you, and who is not afraid to make a comment stating such. But, from what I have seen by the examples set forth by you, and the "better than you" christians, is to throw insults at those who don't agree with you.

As for the "ignore" list. I have noone on my ignore list, because I am not afraid to have a discussion with anyone. Especially if it involves defending, or explaining my beliefs. So go ahead and ignore me, show how much you do fear the unknown, and those that question your percieved authority.
