They'd try to round all the Patriots up for "trespassing" on Mexican territory! I'm really NOT buying the nonsense that we CAN'T guard the border. "Can't" is the new "Won't because it doesn't fit into our progressive agenda".

Same can be said for the Gulf Oil disaster...the Obamanation WON'T do everything possible to plug it, because it doesn't fit into their progressive agenda to get the sheeple to agree to a permanent ban on future offshore drilling.

I've got no problem with banning all deep water, off-shore drilling. Just keep the drilling in shallow water, near-shore, continental shelf regions, which is where BP wanted to drill in the first place. Free leases on the shelf, no leases in the deep water. Done.

BP wanted to drill in the continental shelf.

Louisiana wanted BP to drill in the continental shelf.

The feds required them to drill in water 5000 feet or deeper.

If there's anyone to blame for this cluster frak, it's the federals, the same federals who watched porn while pulling their puds rather than conducting legitimate inspections of oil rigs.

To err is Corporate. To really screw up requires government. They say we need a stronger government to be able to clean up messes like the Deepwater Horizon... STRONG GOVERNMENT CAUSED THE DEEPWATER HORIZON! If the Deepwater Horizon had been placed where BP and LA wanted it, this would have been a curiousity for a weekend, maybe a week, and then nothing more. Instead, it's become Obama's Katrina. Congratufukinlations, federals.

I'm sure we could round up lots of folks who are out of work and train them as border guards. Teach them to shoot at sniper school in Ft. Benning.

Hell I'd quit my job and leave this overtaxed, liberal cesspool for that opportunity.

Oh, geeze here I go again, posting while angry... I missed my APA meeting (Angry Posters Anonymous)..

    Peace...
You can give peace a chance alright..

I'll seek cover in case it goes badly..

Put up live fire pratice sign facing Mexico printed in both spanish and english and allow anyone to use this range for free, military included, and watch the crossings come to a halt. Once a month, pick up the bodies.

I don't think this would work. I did my Marine Corps M-16 qualifying on Camp Pendleton's rifle range for 12 years. On numerous occasions, someone had to call a cease-fire when the illegals started cresting the hill behind the target pits. Live, semi-auto, gun fire on a federal military installation was not a deterrent to these people.

Sounds to me like ya'll were shooting at the wrong targets, then, HC53.

On a serious note, maybe the border will be the flashpoint. I mean, if the freakin' federal gov't is NOT going to secure our borders, who then? At some point, this sh#t has got to CEASE.
