Ron Paul I believe would be the best choice.
You can have my freedom as soon as I'm done with it!!!

The thing to consider here is does he have more of a chance than Ron Paul? I believe he does hands down. Unfortunately I believe Mitt Romney will win the republican primaries. I say unfortunately because many don't see his flip-flops on several issues. They don't see his "conversion" from pro choice to pro life. They don't see his stance on "supporting" the 2A but also supporting the "assault" weapons ban. No matter what side of the issues, is Romney the one you want making the choices? I don't think so.

To be quite honest I do not think any of them have much of a chance. I think the election process has been so corrupted that it is hard if not impossible to get someone elected that is not a puppet. I hope I am proven wrong.

I think you are absolutely right. Call me paranoid, but something is seriously wrong. Democrats are "ruling" the country without regard to the will of the people. Letters and calls are ignored. If letters are answered, the polite bottom line is: "I don't care what you want, this is the way I intend to vote on this legislation". Politicians don't normally willingly commit career suicide. Look for Obama to attempt to legalize 10 to 12 million illegal aliens by executive order in an attempt to steal the election. Look for an attempt to admit Puerto Rico as the 51st state in order to increase the Democrat's voting base (regardless of the wishes of the people of Puerto Rico). Either we have: 1) the stupidest politicans that have ever been in office; 2) the most corrupt politicans ever in office; or 3) politicans that are so ideological that they would rather sacrifice their careers rather than compromise on their beliefs. I could really respect #3 even though I disagree with their ideology. I would like to believe it is #1, because it is easier to dismiss their threat. Unfortunately, I think it is #2 and I fear for the future of the country. I have to believe that Obama thinks he will be able to sabotage the next election either through a "state of emergency" or corruption of the voting process.

    Ok, here's the thing folks...

    1. Ron Paul will never run for President again, he's too old (and he's said both) ... He can do us the most good where he is at in Congress right now... (Perhaps in 2016 we can look at his son Rand Paul as a contender).
    2. We need to focus on November 2010 THIS YEAR...
before we waste any cycles on who may or may not be viable and or running in 2012...

Knee-Cap Obama & Company this November by taking back Congress, THEN we can focus on 2012...

That is where our primary focus of time, effort and whatever money we can afford needs to be spent in my view...

That being said, I think Mike Huckabee, Sarah Palin or Alan Keyes are probably the most viable Conservatives that may run, whom
Unequivocally support a Unabridged Second Amendment ...

    NOT ROMNEY, NOT EVER !!!

    No Liberals ...
    No Democrats ...
    No RINOS ...
    No Socialists, Marxists, Communists ...

Bohemian is right. First things first and that's to take back congress. All congressmen and one third of the Senate are up for grabs. Get active locally and get all the prostitutes voted out. Kneecap is a good term as then BHO can hobble around for the next two years all the while ineffective and in pain. S2

  8. Mike Huckabee would be a great choice, but if you look at his weight, it is unlikely he will ever run again. Those that run for President do keep the weight in check since people do notice that in the TV age.

However, this is not a matter of getting the right politician to run for office to take back America, it is a spiritual issue of repentance that is needed. So far, I don't see any hint of repentance on the part of America, instead, it keeps going further into decadence daily. Although I would like to see a godly president in the next election, that is not the issue at hand.

Have you watched Mike Huckabee's show on fox news on Sundays?

he has not been over weight since he started running marathons during his second term as Arkansas Governor...

during the last election cycle either he or Sarah Palin had more executive experience then any other candidate from any any party...

Lets focus on November 2010, Knee-Cap Obama & Company, Take Back Congress this November...

Didn't see Newt on the choices, wish he'd run. Did vote for Jindal, he's now tasted the LACK of Leadership by the Federal Gov't. Think he would institute some major corrections if elected.

Did see a great bumper sticker the other day:
I've got my Savior, I'm just looking for a President.
