Thread: Obama, worst president ever?

  1. #61
I am seeing the thread change to debates over socialism v capitalism, presidents from the 1800's, etc.

BHO has repeatedly gone around the world bowing to foreign leaders and apologizing for america.
He pushed through a health care bill that not only can we not pay for, but no one can argue seriously for or against because it is so big no one has read it still
He announced to our enemies in iraq that if we don't win by next year we will leave
he raised taxed on all people, but primarily poor people (smoking tanning, etc)
he is going to allow the bush tax hikes to expire (tax increase)
during the problem economy of the last few years, 2 bright lights have been on, health care and energy. He attacked health care already and now wants to destroy the energy industry though cap n trade when we have no alternatives ready yet.
He has put one leftist radical judge on the supreme court and is trying for another
Took control over an american motor company
Improved his golf game while the worst oil disaster in history is occuring.
Held a beer summit between a racist civilian and a cop
Has a justice dept that will not prosecute blacks who intimdate whites trying to vote
Sues a state for passing a law similar to a federal law that they don't (won't) enforce

I could go on, but have to get back to work. If you like the above list, he is doing just fine. I don't like much of anything he has done. He does go to a lot of shows and concerts though.

For those of you that think socialism is so great.

"The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of "liberalism" they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened." Norman Thomas, for many years U.S. Socialist Presidential candidate.

"The people will be crushed under the burden of taxes, loan after loan will be floated; after having drained the present, the State will devour the future."
    Fredric Bastiat

"Under Socialism you would not be allowed to be poor. You would be forcibly fed, clothed, lodged, taught, and employed whether you liked it or not. If it were discovered that you had not the character and industry enough to be worth all this trouble, you might possibly be executed in a kindly manner. . . ." [This is compassionate liberalism.]
Fabian Socialist Bernard Shaw in his Intelligent Woman's Guide to Socialism and Capitalism, 1928.

"The New Deal is plainly an attempt to achieve a working socialism and avert a social collapse in America; it is extraordinarily parallel to the successive 'policies' and 'Plans' of the Russian experiment. Americans shirk the word 'socialism', but what else can one call it?"
H.G. Wells The New World Order 1939
By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house;by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith Heb.11:7

Conservatism and Liberalism are not forms of a government philosophy, but are terms used to describe a government philosophy (in this case). “A liberal capitalist” or “a conservative capitalist” are two examples. So to say “the main difference between socialism and conservatism” really makes no sense. You are comparing a philosophy with a description of that philosophy.
Don’t feel bad about your mistake, I see that kind of stuff all over this forum.
Maybe you can repost what you really wanted to say. I look forward to it.

I, personally, do not know any socialist conservatives...the term is contradictory. IMO, socialism IS a philosophy...one that has failed everytime it has been embraced. So, this IS my "repost" because I've already said what I intended to say in my prior post.

I'm willing to bet Joseph Vissarionovich Djugashvili would have described himself as a "socialist conservative"

That either proves your point or makes clear how political definitions differ around the world.

Either way I would like his emulators and admirers in the current government to go away.

People don't like to be meddled with. We tell them what to do, what to think, don't run, don't walk. We're in their homes and in their heads and we haven't the right. We're meddlesome.--River Tam

WAL's website and his comments since seek to subordinate the indivual to the group. Under his philosophy and the government derived from it there is no "I" but only "we" and "us". Despite his dreams of a utopia, the typical result of removing individuality is a decline in all aspects of life until lowest common denominators are reached. While this could be seen as a good thing IF the poor all earned the same amount as the middle class and the rich did too, but unfortunately, as this aspect approaches a balance, productivity also nears a balance, which affects median wages, so they will be on a constant downward spiral until everyone is living on the dole, and the government is only going further into debt. Of course, a leader in this scenario could use Stalin's tactic and conduct mass executions to attempt keeping his government intact.

Mom.....I think you had it right all along !!! well, I mean unless one wants to fall for the liberal BS of "it depends on what your definition of the word is...is"

I don't know whether he's the absolute worst president in history but he does rank very high in my book as such. He doesn't care what the majority of the people want. He has an agenda and he's going to push it through no matter what the public wants. He spends trillions of dollars that we don't have and puts us in debt to a communist country. He speaks out against those that oppose him but thinks anyone speaking out against him is a domestic terrorist. He wants to control the internet and news agencies thus stifling freedom of speech and the ability to keep watch on what's being done. Yes there are those that, no matter what, think that he can do no wrong but so did other socialist leaders now running dictatorial countries.

I've put this information on this forum numerous times before. I can only guess that anyone who read the information has simply chosen to ignore it. I'll share the information again, who knows, maybe someone will actually pay some attention. For anyone who is ignorant concerning the Bilderbergers New World Order, One World Government, One World Currency, Council On Foreign Relations, etc., try Google and educate yourself. While you're at it check out Henry Kissinger. Is Obama the worst president ever, or the most dangerous president ever? Henry Kissinger has boldly revealed, and it's above scrutiny, that Obama has been groomed to be "THE" Architect Of The New World Order. Obama doesn't care if he's re-elected, he's in there to do as much irreversible destruction to our Constitution and our country as he can in four years. Knowing this, can anyone, seriously, in their right mind, continue to ask these questions concerning Obama's presidency and his AGENDA?

Doesn't follow fallacv. The Bilderbergers and all the NWO conspiracy theories were around before Obama and they will remain with us after. I suppose it is convenient to have material like that you can tie right to whatever or whoever it is you may not like, with no supporting evidence or indeed anything other than the notion that Obama is bad, they must be bad, therefore Obama is an integral part of the master conspiracy.

Sorry, nice try but doesn't follow. Of course there's things going on there we should be concerned about. I'd be more worried about letting my imagination run away with me than what the world's elite are doing with their power.

Maybe they should invite you to the next meeting Ringo, so you can set 'em straight?
