    Thanks for introduciing us to Allen West, Boomboy. IMO, West is NOT a politician...he's a Statesman.

    I hope not, I disagree with many statements he's made in the past. I hate have to hold my nose again this election.

    Ron Paul and Judge Andrew Napolitano. Paul will run again for the presidency, I'll bet money on it. The guy may be old, but he's still viable as a candidate.

    To EMT232004;
    Come back in 10 years, The U.S. Constitution, Article II ; Qualifications. The President must be a natural born citizen of the United States, at least 35 years old and a resident of the United States for at least 14 years. An obsolete part of this clause provides that instead of being a natural born citizen, a person may be a citizen at the time of the adoption of the Constitution. The reason for this clause was to extend eligibility to Citizens of the United States at the time of the adoption of the Constitution, regardless of their place of birth, who were born under the allegiance of a foreign sovereign before the founding of the United States. Without this clause, no one would have been eligible to be president until thirty-five years after the founding of the United States. ( Does that make Barack Obama 234+ yrs old?).

    With that said how is he still in office 2 years later? On another note since he was not born in the US, anything that he signs into law is not valid.

    Newt Gingrich. He has the smarts and toughness to make a good president and it appears he may run. He was one of the leaders who brought Clinton to the center in the 90's and helped balance the budget, plus he is in favor of drilling, a strong defense, etc

    Allen West is a Statesman. Yet, sadly I believe that the election of OBAMA has made it almost impossible to run another American of COLOR for many years to come. Just think how much damage has been done to those that don't count race as their main identity and see people as God's creations. OBAMA has set back the TRUST feature 200 years.

    If I had MY way, I would run West as the Conservative candidate in 2012. Not only would it effectively remove race considerations from the board, but upon West's successful win (and I DO believe that he would win), it would show the supremacy of the Conservative Ideal. In other words, it is the conservative philosophy that works, regardless of the race of the leader employing it, and the liberal philosophy that doesn't work, regardless of the race of the leader employing it.

    Of course, I am also in love with a Ron Paul/Andrew Napolitano ticket!
