Thread: Does Pro choice = Pro Abortion???

Pro-choice = Pro-abortion. I believe it's that simple. There is a middle ground such as allowing abortion in the case of rape or when pregnancy is a danger to the woman. Pro-choice is tantamount to allowing abortion as a form of birth control and there are far to many preventative forms of birth control available. Just my opinion.

Boris you are right on here. I have never been able to figure out how a bleeding heart liberal can be against the death penalty but be in favor of murdering the most innocent. I guess to some a low life killer has more rights than a baby. You are right. Go figure.

Pro choice = pro abortion. Abortion = killing and killing = murder. Especially when it's an innocent and defensless human life. There is no middle ground on this. If after the pic that HK4U posted you still don't think so then you are more unreasonable then the anti 2A people we all disagree with so much that it hurts.

Nothing makes me more sick and angry than photos like that!!

  5. Whether or not a person is for or against abortion always comes down to the one point that no one is willing to go into. That is whether or not a "fetus" is a human life. To be pro-abortion (or pro-choice, same thing) means that you don't believe the forming child in the womb is a living human being. Yes, they mean the same thing. There are only 2 choices available, life or death. If you give the choice for a person to choose the death, you are also choosing that death. But, I believe it is acceptable to take a life to save another.

    My take...

    I'm pro-gun/2A, pro-choice, pro-business, pro-free enterprise, pro-euthanasia and pro-death penalty.

The reason for my pro-choice stance is that because of the simple fact it's not my place or decision to make. We don't know when a fetus is alive or a better term; sentient being. I have also worked in a psych hospital and a line of work where I carried firearms for a living. Society would have been much better if some of the so called persons I've dealt with weren't born. One of my past shall we say "customers" is still wanted in Nevada for murder 2 the second time after doing a decade for murder 2. Those of us who know this person knows he needs to be put down like a rabid dog. If he's ever out on the street, he will kill. He has once, alledgedly a second time.

You anti-choice people don't factor into the equation that if a female who is incapable of taking care of herself much less a child, what is the child going to become? Is another predator being created that we are going to have to use our firearms against? Sure there's the adoption but who's say that the persons adopting the child aren't also doing society a disservice because they are only in it for monetary gain from socialist programs. What type of monster will be created in that instance?

While I am generally conservative, I am logical about many issues. A pet incident of mine similar to the pro-choice argment is the Terri Schiavo fiasco.
The government had no business getting involved in that. The pathology report also stated that she was brain dead except for her autonomic nervous system. Unfortunately the EMTs weren't quite fast enough to save her brain.

CHOICE? The murdered baby does not get a choice. Be sure you look at the site I posted of the murdered baby before you are quick to dismiss this life. The woman that chooses to have sex makes her choice. There are always consequences for actions. Many adults do not want to accept theirs. There is nothing more revolting than murdering a baby as a form of birth controle.

    A woman's opinion:
    Pro-choice = Pro-Abortion.

I am against abortion. I feel the only time a woman should abort a living being is in the case of rape or complicated pregnancy in which the woman's life is in danger.

That being said, IF we pass an anti-abortion law, will women still have the right to abort in the circumstances listed above? We as gun owners will fight tooth and nail to not have our rights taken away, would it be fair to take away a woman's right and force her to carry and give birth to a child who was the product of a violent crime?

The question is...when and where do you draw the line?

You said it yourself. "We don't know when a fetus is alive or a better term; sentient being." Sounds like a reason not to do an abortion, not the opposite. Would you be willing to point a gun at someone and pull the trigger if you weren't absolutely sure they posed a serious threat? If you decide to take a life, you had better be sure it's the right thing to do.

If a woman is not capable of raising a child then adoption is the answer? It sounds like to me that you would be willing to kill an unborn child just because it might not have a perfect life or because it might not become a good person, or because someone might exploit the adoption program for monetary gains. Of all the arguments I've heard, this is absolutely the most ridiculous.

Furthermore, for you to compare the abortion the "Terri Schiavo fiasco" is equally ridiculous. They are no where near one in the same.

    I stand by my logic...

It is not my decision to make as it's not my body. Until we have concrete medical and scientific evidence as to when life does start and end, it's just a cluster of self replicating DNA.

I also will state for the record here that I have absolutely no issue being a legally armed escort for a woman who wishes to use the legal services of an family planning clinic. I will also state that I have no issue whatsoever drawing my firearm and using it to legally defend said clinic, its staff or patients from acts of terrorism from overzealous anti-choice activists because it is legal in this country and I hope it stays that way. Using acts of terrorism against these clinics and their patients is just as criminal as 9/11. Like it or not, it is a freedom in this country, some freedoms are just difficult to swallow.

If you want to deal with the unwanted pregnancy issue, have the talk with your children and see about having your daughter's OB/GYN prescribe birth control. Or better yet, buy your teenage kids condoms. That's how you deal with the unwanted pregnancy and abortion issue if it bothers you so much. Educate your children so it won't be a problem. I'd rather deal with that then be a grandparent prematurely. An once of prevention is worth a ton of cure when it comes to getting surprise packages from the stork. Oh wait a minute. The same anti-choice zealots are also against schools teaching sex education and put their heads in their sand or have a proverbial gluteous maximus for head wear when it comes to the birds and the bees. No wonder we have such an issue with unwanted pregnancies.

It is not my place to impose beliefs that do not affect me personally or the safety of the public as a whole. A woman exercising her right to choose does not affect our society as a whole or any of us individually. That decision she has to deal with. It is her business and decision to make, no one else's.

.....And it is not the decision of the women to murder a baby but she takes it upon her selr. God help us. What have we become in this country Nazi Germany? Perhaps we can figure out how to gas the babies while still in the womb.
