    I didn't vote in the last election. But, I've been paying better attention as of late and I like Ron Paul. Have you researched him and his beliefs? You might like him.

    Respectfully, if you don't know who 12-term Republican Congressman Ron Paul is, you have not been paying attention to who has consistently opposed RINO republicans (Like John McCain) & democrats his entire adult life in defense of the constitution and our liberty..
    Ron Paul is A+ Rated by Gun Owners of America and the NRA just for starters.
    Listen carefully, Ron Paul is the guy that all the rest of the candidates are quoting...

    I won't just vote for someone cause America's gun owners and the nra say he's A+ If anything, that might scare some people away.

    We need stop basing our votes by someone's gun thoughts. There are much more important things, such as bringing back jobs to the US, paying off China, getting countries to accept more US goods, saving the Polar Bears, making a tax code that works and punishes company's that move overseas, try to save social security (we all have ton invested in that), the list goes on and on. If we can fix all these things it won't matter who's president. Clinton was a terrible president but the country still thrived despite him. Mostly cause of silicon valley but still, you get my point. When I look at a candidate "guns" never enter my area of thought. Thinking like that is what led people to stuffing their double wides with millions of rounds and causing a shortage to sport shooters and crazy prices.

    The Country was mislead to believe we thrived under Clinton, when in fact he gutted and cannibalized the military for the so-called surplus he claimed to have left... and left us ripe for 911, Walter Reed hospital debacle was blamed on W when in fact it was slick-willie's fault the VA and Military was in such a sad-state of affairs... we had ZERO body armor when slick-willie left office...
    He raised the deficit and increased the size of government and increased entitlements...
    I served in the military under Carter to "W" and Clinton was only Second to Jimmy "The Wimp" Carter in his abysmal handling of our Military and the country... does the Federal Assault Weapons Ban ring any bells? Brady Bills ad nauseum ?
    How about Slick-Willie's Circle of Friends that include Acorn, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and SEIU? Just for starters, both Carter & Clinton signed laws that forced Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac to increase the number of sub-prime mortgages they carried on their books...
    And we know how that turned out, it just took a few years for it to come to a head... and W got blamed for it...

    We have to do as Ron Paul and other Constitutional Conservatives have recommended and dramatically cut all spending and leave nothing off the table and this includes Entitlement spending and Military spending, Foreign Welfare...

    When I vote for somebody their position and record on the Second Amendment is my first and foremost concern...

    Dang, you make some strong arguments with nice facts.

    I too served under William Jefferson Clinton and was a victim of his military cuts. I served 89-94 active duty, re-enlisted, and was given sweet orders to Submarine Base Bangor, WA. A few months later I was told my orders had been cancelled and I was released from my duty to Country. (side note, I believe in the draft. mandatory 2 years for everyone.)(hippies)

    But if any if these candidates were anything they might have won one of the last 7 tries. these guys running are the anwser to the question "what is the definition of insanity?"

    I disagree with your premise that if any of the current candidates were viable they would have won previously...

    For far too long political candidates have been imposed on us by party establishment (CorruptOCrats & RINOs) and special interests...
    Giving individuals who have virtually no experience or credentials like Barack Obama unfair advantages over more qualified candidates...

    IMHO since November 2008 there has been an awaking of the American People to do their duty & due diligence research on candidates despite the smoke & mirrors of the establishment candidates from both party's that we would be led to believe are the answer...

    The likes of Ron Paul, Alan Keyes, Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann are clearly head & shoulders above the rest in their records...

    Although I would vote for Billary Clinton over Barack Obama if that was the choice I had...

    The Primary's & Caucuses are the only chance WE THE PEOPLE have to choose OUR candidate; or the establishment parties will CHOOSE one for us...
    We have to get involved & stay involved and encourage others to do the same...

    Compare & Contrast all candidates based on their records, not their rhetoric...
    When we do that we can clearly see that ANYBODY BUT OBAMA is a good choice...

    AND IMHO an Mitt Romney Republican Nominee Prediction that is down right frightening...

    Don't get me wrong "Barack Obama" is the enemy and I will vote for whoever gets the nomination, I just pray people WTFU, do their due diligence personal research, and compare & contrast all the candidates on their records and not emotions or media bias; and go for Dr. Ron Paul, Champion of Liberty, Defender of the Constitution; who IMHO is the only one with the stones to do what needs to be done if we are to survive as a nation....

    Bo, if Ramny get the nominee then I Will vote for Obama, I am ready for the battle. He is worse then Mc Cain. We need change where the American People can feel the hurt in their pockets and with blood shed and riots in the streets. People have very short memories until it effects them. I would vote for Palin or Bachman no problem. A true conservative will be the only way to beat the Mac Daddy.

    I agree with the sentiment; although I would hope that you are being facetious, because Obama is exponentially worse than Romney; and if we follow in Greece's footsteps our rioting & bloodshed in the streets will make Greece's look like a walk in the park and will be measured in decades of inevitable Dictatorship, Martial Law and Civil War...

    I am convinced that the majority of the American people are just down right ignorant and or stupid. This is what got us here at this point in the first place. Maybe, this country needs the hardship to bring it back. She has terminal illness and can not hold in there much longer. Not sure what to make of it anymore.
