He doesn't want to punish common criminals. Voted against legislation making it a capital offense for a gangbanger to kill a non-gangbanger as part of an initiation becuase more minorities are gangbangers. Well Texas, God bless their soul, has an express lane to the death house for the worst of society.

BO hates more than just Texas, starting with patriotic Americans, military, republicans, conservatives, constitutionalists, and on and on.
Win or no with running for prez, I am very glad to see Rick Perry doing this, but calling for BO to do his job isn't the first time: Perry tried to hand BO (I call him that cause he stinks) a letter about the border problem when he got off the airplance here a while back, and BO wouldn't take it.

The more I hear of Perry the more I like him. Bachmann or Perry will be the biggest decision I'll have to make...

LOL! You can do better than that. After all, you're an intellectual.

    You're gonna love this campaign.

I'm not from Texas, but I generally like their attitude toward guns, crooks and taking care of themselves. As for Perry, he pretty much told Bernake to pound sand, that he was an idiot for printing more money, allegedly shot a coyote and seems to carry. Additionally, he's trying to get reimbursed for money his state spent because the feds aren't (as usual) doing their job! I like him. Don't know too much about his politics, yet,but I like him.
